I am 43 and my parents and teachers taught us to respect those in authority, I respected my Dad but my mom never lined us kids up and had us sing a song about him! We respected our pastor but the congregation never stood before the sermon and sang to him or about him! My parents had some presidents that they thought the world of but they would have pulled us out of school if the teacher had us sing like this about them.
