One day my dad sat us all down when we thought all was well and said, "Kids, I am going to be leaving you soon, so you will have to be very brave!" 6 months later my dad sent us out to the beach saying all is well and a new project was on horizon, so we left and when we came back he was lying on the bed in his tuxedo and had taken his own life and left notes and all. But we knew he'd do it. It's about providing for his heirs.

David was also very depressed and was at the end of his rope with cigs and tequila ...

So it was so his insurance money would provide for his family? From what I have read about him he talked openly about thinking of committing suicide in the past. Even stating that he kept a loaded pistol in drawer and would take it out every night and consider shooting himself. I was deeply saddened by his death.

I'm also very sorry as to what happened with your own father. It must have been very difficult.

When David Carradine came to the end of his relationships, he just stopped showing up and was always gone. I noticed it with his second wife Linda, and with Gail and Marina, but by the time he met and married Annie, Marina had chased me away and even called my job at The Hollywood Reporter where I worked as Editorial Asst for 3 years and made me lose my job by saying I was bothering her and David, and she really laid into my boss at the time Alex Ben Block whom I've seen on TV lately commenting!

ONCE THAT HORRID 4TH WIFE MARINA ANDERSON GOT HER HOOKS INTO DAVID SHE MADE HIS WALLET LOOK LIKE SWISS CHEESE AND USED DAVID TO GET PLASTIC SURGERY SO SHE COULD LOOK LIKE HIS DAUGHTER CALISTA, WHO SHE CLAIMS WAS MAKING OUT WITH DAVID IN BED ONE DAY, BUT THE REAL DEAL IS THAT THEY WERE NOT MAKING OUT, JUST KIDDING AROUND TO MESS WITH MARINA, SO CALISTA LICKED DAVID'S EAR, I HAVE A LOT OF AUDIO TAPE OF DAVID'S CLOSE PAL DUSTY TALKING ABOUT EVERYTHING, but this was when Marina and David first met!

to trickboy 1 - what "y incision"??? All I saw was a straight line incision - certainly NOT the "traditional" y incision we see on TV in the US.....or the one I learned in medical school - but that was also in the US - I gather they do a different incision in Thailand - the one in the photo also extends much higher into the neck area than the traditonal y incision. So, did you and I really see the same photo?

He was showing off and was so sweet that day and I can truly say that I am the #1 fan of David Carradine and one of the few fans who has interacted with him, and i remember being 12 and wanting to meet him and day dreaming about it all the time, and one day when I grew up, I DID MEET HIM!!!!!!!!!
