  • you can hear the divine from the source of white lite

  • pure bliss , what a voice , she needs to feed us some more , thankfully l still have the cocteau twins stuff ,

  • This is very niice it has somewhat of an old School R@B/ SOul feel too it. i really like this. Thumbs up if Massive Attack led you here

  • beautiful voice

  • She should sing at the royal wedding!

  • my generation - i just discovered that she's from 1963 (august - i'm from july) - i can't say that she's the voice of my generation (that would be much honour put on us) - but, considering the poor music produced in the 80's, i'll say that she redeems it...

thx so much ! (to elisabeth in the first place - et à caropask, pour ce bel hommage)

  • @kolibet C'est gentil, merci :)

  • love this song what a great version! free free free!! I can hardly see in front of me!!!!

  • what a gorgeous creature she is

  • Such an angelic voice..

  • I wonder if she feels ''free'' from a certain man here...I know how great it can feel to liberate yourself from the wrong person...

  • Nice tunes ...im sure the ''twins ''inspired goth metal bands like Floor Jansen ,Ayreon, Therion etc...you can hear the influence..love this more recent stuff than'' This Mortal coil era material oddly enough

  • how many versions of this songs?

    i love this one !

  • uwielbiam Cię Elizabeth!!! a tę piosenkę zwłaszcza. jest i na smutki i na szczęścia..

  • Well, actually, Nile Rodgers & Chic "covered" the original song, composed and sung by UK's Robert Wyatt!

  • @Dulce22261

Actually, you have it entirely backwards - this is a Chic song which was covered by Robert Wyatt.

  • At last... I am Davidson.

  • Wait a minute! This is an old album cut from the disco group Chic (Le Freak, Good Times)...OMG! I love her version of this too...

  • Yes it is and fucking gorgeous too.

Don't think nile Rodgers would mind a bit.

  • Quintessential Beauty! ... A wonderful interpretation from Liz!

  • beautiful song writer

  • A raw heart pulsing through open space

    it's voice penetrating all manifestations

transforming into an angelic state of mind

    where all viciousness starts crying

melting into the core of all that exists

    a voice beyond all Labels... (°o}

  • Those are beautiful lines, what song is that?

  • Formed into electromagnetic Signals, transformed into coded waves bipedaled mammals call thoughts and expressed by agnostoatomo

(greek for unknownPerson) typing certain keys of an electric signal processor that transforms thoughtcodes into electromagnetic signals to reach bumping Drums of awakened minds to resonate with each other.

Find yourself embraced starkid77,born in the year of the Firesnake 8o)

  • Radhe Radhe

  • Taps the vein that make you want to cry and just breathe it all out, same as Robert Wyatt.Kate Bush too. Cheers for this

  • why why why has she never released a solo album??? my god she's one of the most influential voices to come along in generations and it's been 10 years since CT broke up yet no solo album still. Please Liz, with a voice like yours you have an obligation to add more to the history of music.

  • She did release an EP recently ("Moses"), but I agree...

  • @craybee06 I couldn't agree more !! Where are you Liz ?

  • hello all

im writing from home in puerto rico...been a sick fan of the cocteau twins since LOVES EASY TEARS...where is this song from ???????

  • You will find this song on a Cd Complilation (feat. various artists) called : "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before" Label : Rough Trade (UK) - Released : 2003

  • Rough Trade and 4AD put out the best compilations.

  • magie dans mon coeur...LIZ...

As always I have no words with Cocteau Twins and the angels singing through Liz.

    merci et a la prochaine

  • This is closer to Robert Wyatt's version from 1980

  • This is a more contemporary version of the legendary Chic's version of 1978. Chic was just great as a funky group. We can see this version is a bit more melancolic and yet beautiful

  • J'adore vos videos! Je n'ai jamais entendu ces chansons--incroyable.

  • Merci à vous... Votre commentaire me touche beaucoup. :)

  • excellently done! a lovely photo anthology. and it's such a "trip" to hear Ms. Fraser rendering old school "ART ROCK," complete with Chris Squire-style bass licks and analog synth passages! wow wow and double wow again!

this song makes me feel like i'm a teenager zooming on purple microdot again.

  • Thanksssssssss!! mmmmh..."purple microdot"? What is it?

  • a powerful psychoactive drug back in the mid 70's, when "art rock" was king.

  • @CAROPASK me thinks it could be a veiled reference to a stabilised version of Lysergic acid di-ethylamide or,perhaps, the retro named methylenedioxymethamphetamine. That would be a guess, no personal expierence, never even inhaled. Haha, thanks for the song CAROPASK.

  • @theMacvarish lol
