Bit of trivia: Araki stated that the original 2 parts of JJBA were based on Hokuto no Ken. You can even see it in Jonathan and Josef. They both look like Ken and Josef can predict what his enemy's about to say next.

In the manga, Jotaro planned to break Dio's leg all night until the sun came up and burned him to death. Unfortanely, Dio tried to escape and fight back. Big mistake... Also, in the manga, Dio used a steam roller. However, I like the gas truck idea a bit more. The exposion was badass...
