  • I ran for the BCMP. As a high school teacher, I was taking a risk but the Surrey School Board didn`t fire me.

Marc Emery is in jail because he organized a successful heckling of then American Drug Czar John P.Walters. Walters was humiliated and wanted Emery badly. Now the U.S has told Canada to forget our silly ideas about decriminalization and they even want Canada to turn into a prison state like the U.S.

Canadians are a spineless lot when they have to stand up to the U.S.

    Shame on Canada!

  • @dbts808 Good thing Canada sent Marc to the USA to be tried & imprisoned. He's learning the hard way what a fuckin' dildo he is. Hes getting fucked in the ass every night by hardened killers & thugs.

  • For those who don't know Marc Emery has been serving time in US, he did get extradited to the US, go to cannabis culture, or google him its not to hard to find information about him. Sad sad times we live in!

  • Mike wallace is a complete jack ass, who has no class. He needs to open his eyes and realize that canada shouldn't but the US' bitch and that we should stand up for ourselves once in a while. in my eyes, he is not a suitable MP.

  • ....6 months later on can i ask the same question?? Where is he now?

  • I'd like to smack the ignorant pig laughing in the background.

  • who rules whom

  • Glad to see Canadians from all the big 3 parties standing up to this crap. Actually I think they are doing this to corner the market and remove the compitition.

  • any interviews on Obama saying what he thinks of this shit????? fuck the DEA they dont run our country !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • marcs gone :( .......not a good day for canada

  • shouldn't we be more worried about all these empty chairs in parliament?

  • @Ribosome21 WHY? What does the government ever do anyway?! It's a fucking joke, friend!!

  • hes fought for us smokers now we have to fight for him over grow the government.

  • its good to see a bipartisan presentation of the petitions.

  • Nice to see the petition presented by a Conservative, Liberal, and NDP rep. Understand the Bloc is willing to present one en français aussi. Bravo!

  • So did Emery get extradited? What has happen to him? Where is he now?

  • @FXThug It's still in the hands of Rob Nicholson, Justice minister. He is able to sign it whenever he decides to. He hasn't yet.

  • @CannabisFactsForCdns He's currently at Seatac Federal Detention Facility in Seattle Washington. :(

  • According to Marc's lawyer the Justice Minister is going to make his decision soon.

  • @whiskers123

he has till may 10th till he has to make his decision i believe so yes very soon

  • @FXThug Tomorrow is the big day!

  • @daniellique oh shit I should have called the Justice ministers office then...

  • @FXThug Marc has been extradited and now serving 5 years in prison in California

  • The old *the U.S. won't let us* argument may once have had some legitimacy, but with more and more U.S. states reforming their cannabis laws, and with Obama as President, it's a very different picture than the one we were looking at under the 8 years of bush!

  • @CannabisFactsForCdns You REAlly think Obama is anything but a puppet...? Same as the puppet before him... and the one before that.... Pah lease !!

  • mike wallace is awesome..and so is his haircut...

  • Please thank the three MPs who presented petitions to Parliament on behalf of Marc Emery! LIBBY DAVIES, NDP (613) 992-6036 -- UJJAL DOSANJH, LIBERAL (613) 995-7052 -- SCOTT REID, CONSERVATIVE (613) 947-2277. Leave a message saying "Thank you for standing up for Marc Emery by presenting the petitions in Parliament. Please keep pressuring the Justice Minister to keep Marc Emery in Canada!"

  • Good to see that volume of petitions being presented.

  • I will post my reply to this email online as well as send a CC to the PM and every news/media company I can think of.

Sorry Mr. Wallace but I don't see how protecting your friends and avoiding life in prison is "consent(ing) to surrender".

  • Thank you for your email. Actually, I was laughing at MP Scott Reid because he had told me that he was about to stand and present a petition from constituents and he didn't agree with the petition at all. This does happen sometimes. Our Government has no intentions of decriminalizing marijuana. We feel that illicit drugs undermine healthy families and safe communities and fuels organized crime and fosters petty crime. Mr. Emery has consented to surrender and is awaiting extradition. M Wallace

  • The petition is right and should be carried. Any government surrendering one of his citizen to another for laws not punishable with its on law of the land is not worth keeping. If that happens, I am no longer be proud of my canadian citizenship! Heads up for Dosanji, never thought that of him, but was proven wrong.

  • mike wallace obviously doesn't understand that the majority of Candians believe marijuana should be legalized

  • Attention!! Before anyone else insults Mike Wallace!

The person who made this video should fix his description to include this.

I personally sent a message to Marc Wallace insulting him for this video.

He was laughing because the first man to speak, was actually against the cause but you still have to show the petitions, even if you dont like the cause.

So the man was laughing out of humor, not at your cause. Target Harper, he's the stupid one.

  • I'm happy to add some clarification for why Wallace laughed. Can you explain what the reason was in more detail? So far, I don't understand.

  • The reason he was laughing, was because the first person was anti-marijuana.

He was against the petition but it's their duty to display them.

He found humor in it because the guy had just spoken to him about how he has to present the petitions to a cause he is against..

I could see myself laughing in the same position.

  • @marineuC Thank you for posting an equally vague explanation. Who is "the first person"? Who was the "he" who was against the petition.

  • @marineuC I got that explanation when I called Mike Wallace's office to tell him I didn't like the petition I signed being laughed at. Whatever the reason for his laughter, it's not funny to be facing 5 years in US Federal prison. Grow up Mr Wallace.

  • Stop-Extradition. Fight for something.

  • ROFL i lold at that fat fuck in the back...

He reminds me of cartman LOLll

  • Well folks, you can keep on voting for the Conservative rednecks or you can kick them out and bring in the Liberals or you can sit in your corner and be afraid of everything. Your call.

  • Selling pot seeds:

    $200 fine in Canada

Life in prison in the USA.

Harper is a coward. He claims legalization would enrich criminals. Umm...Harper, keeping it ILLEGAL enriches criminals. Legalizing it and controlling it from production onwards takes away the incentive for criminals especially when the govt can sell it for cheap and collect all the revenue for themselves.

This is the kind of liar Harper is. Either that or he´s just a dumb jackass.

  • mike wallace your a fat piece of shit, go play fetch with stephen harper

  • why does that guy who is supposed to look all official slouching in his big chair and what looks like his bitch on the side. Way to lead by example fat cats

  • well obviously mike wallace is not fit to be a MP.

  • Fucking Conservatives are cocksuckers i tell you they wanna fuck marijuana users

  • Mike Wallace needs to grow up...fucking goof

  • This was wonderful, even if it turns out to be symbolic. Before the plea, the sentence was life, punishable also by death, I think, if the Seattle DA or the DEA consul wanted it; in Canada, you don't even get that much for murder. And, he paid taxes, listing "Marijuana Seeds Seller" on his Income Tax forms, even giving every member of parliament a copy of CC magazine. Californians especially have Emery to thanks for all the strains available. As a hospice volunteer, I can say that with pride.

  • Marc Emery rules keep him free

  • Marc Emery rules let him be free

  • Stand up for Canadian sovereignty !! Don't let USA arrest our citizens in our own country !

  • Let's keep it real here. It COULD be this guy was laughing at the name The BC Marijuana Party, and/or perhaps knew some of Marc's history, which has its share in good moments of comedy politically and his comments in the media.

For his sake I'm guessing that's exactly the case.

  • If Emery wasn't such an activist for marijuana legalization, the Americans wouldn't be going through so much trouble to extradite him. There are laws in Canada to deal with Mr. Emery, let our justice system do their job, not the American system.

  • ridiculous. members of parliament laughing at the will of the masses.

  • He laughed at the name of the party...as did I first time i heard it....quit acting so offended

  • politicians shouldn't engage in such antics anyway. i understand your point but Mike Wallace is an MP. he should show more restraint. on top of that his chuckle had an arrogant tone.

  • Free marc emery .. in who is that p.o.s lauphing in the backround at all of this ..

  • GO UJJAL

  • Who's the tubby POS in the background laughing at all of this?

  • That is MP Mike Wallace (Conservative - Burlington) chortling in the background. No Class!

  • just emailed Mike Wallace to let him know he made himself look like an idiot.

  • 0:28

Was that you laughing at Marc Emery's plight, the freedom of natural remedies and human suffrage, or a tickle reflex from the 50lbs of undigested red meat festering in your fatuous gut...?

  • Yeah, what an ass @?!#&\ ! Maybe one day he will realize that marijuana can save lives and there's nothing to laugh about when others are talking about serious things. Hope Marc will be FREE soon!

  • Obviosly why it is important to sign petitions. :-) Free Marc!!!

That schmuck in the background also stood in the House today and stated that Canadians didn't care about the millions of taxpayer dollars that are wasted on those propaganda laden 10%ers. The CONS deserve their name.

  • I'd like to punch that fat troll who's laughing in the back rite in the face that bitch. You all have a nice day now,

  • Who is the gentleman in the background who giggles? We should find out. I think the proper thing to do would be to write a formal letter that kindly and gently suggests that he throws his fat ass into oncoming traffic

  • Setting aside the response of the physically unremarkable MP behind him, Scott Reid should be commended for sticking his neck out as far as he has. He must be very confident about his relationship with the PM.

I myself could never vote Con, but this was a moment similar to when Keith Martin voted against C-15, a moment of integrity rarely seen in MPs.

  • Thanks @NoronicDisaster

    brentrathgeber(dot)ca/contact

  • @illtrax He is Mike Wallace, Tory MP for Burlington, ON

  • @CannabisFactsForCdns

Thanks for the correction. They really do look alike.

  • So what happened in the end ... ?

  • Wow, first thing everyone notices is the fatass. And yeah, I would have posted the same, if no one else had...

Now everyone laugh at the overweight man laughing... HAW HAW!

  • the petitions presented in this very parliamentary process not only shows the voice of a people, it represents an echo throughout the world. FREE MARC EMERY. from PORMAL.

  • That guy in the background seems to have quite the chuckle at Marc Emery's Plight.

just out of curiosity, what is his name constituency and Party.

  • Personal attacks about a person's weight displays a form of prejudice. Please keep your comments about the issues without offending overweight people.

  • Clearly your opinion is in the minority here but I will respect your wishes. My apologies for offending you.

  • @CannabisFactsForCdns they can stop offending us by putting down the goddamn pie

  • There is a certain hypocrisy in holding that people should be criminalized, or forced into treatment, for consuming cannabis when the overweight are not criminalized or forced into weight-loss programs. Obesity claims more Canadian lives every year than tobacco. Cannabis and cannabis seeds have never killed anyone.

  • I agree. Who is that guy in the background. I really would like to know his name? Anyone know?

  • @illtrax Brent Rathberger

  • I agree with gared111, that ass started laughing once he said what the petition was for. What a ass. FREE MARC!!!

  • who is that goof in the background laughing? would he be doing that if his child was arrested for this?

  • Who's the lardass in the background? Perhaps he should get off his fat ass & honor the request of the people.
