hi i love the hummingbird how you made them, its my collections i do love that. but however can I make some suggestion, i dont know if you can make it into "sign language in "I love you""? can you do that? I love those and in all colors? can you please send email to me and i rather to have in a private conversation thanks.
Wow that is so beautiful I am interested in the bench shield for my lampworking as I find wearing Diddies over my normal glasses can be a bit much, So loved that humming bird you are so clever.
Hi, Very nice !!! I just got into making glass beads. I can say it is not eazy ! Your little birds are so cute. can you tell me what type of glass you are working with to make your birds ? Thank you for sharing ! :)
These are *beautiful*, I am memorized by how simple you make this look. (: I'm going to give it a shot and hopefully I will come up with something half decent. This would be a perfect present for my mom (:
I like the bench shield because it allows me to wear my prescription glasses, without having to wear another pair of didymium glasses over the top of them. I find the bench shield works great for making beads and small items, but when I work on larger sculptures. I still wear a pair of Phillips didymiums over the top of my prescription lenses.
Could you please tell me where I can buy the bench shield you use? I've been using welder's glasses, but my vision now requires that I wear regular glasses. Thanks!
i dont work with glass myself but i enjoy watching things be made. There is a glass school somewhere near where i live and im interested in it.But i very much enjoyed watching this. Thanks for putting it up!!!
Thank you for the wonderful video. I feel like I can do it now! By the way, I found you in ebay under glassroger not GLRS. Just so everyone can find you too. Thanks again for helping us learn to make hummingbirds! More videos please... :-)
Nice job! Apparently it's ok to leave the parts like wings & tails out of the flame as long as they're warm. I make fish, but am paranoid the fins will break, so I heat them too much & then they shrink back into the body. Thanks again & looking forward to more lessons.
I would like to thank all of the viewers for their support and comments. It makes doing this worth while. There will be more lampworking videos and demonstrations coming in the near future.

Nice Very Nice
i like the way you pile on the glass when you pull the wings
and im guessing Borosilicate, to be out of the flame that long without any problems...

Why do you prefer the Lab Shield to wearing glasses? Does it offer equal protection as you maneuver?

Riger, you make this look soooo easy. If I tried it, I would most likely make globs of glass goo. Good work!

Sure Frank, I purchased the bench shield that I use in the video from Frantz Art Glass. This bench shield is made by Phillips Lens products.
If there is anything else I can help with, just let me know.
