It's the rule for Baroque music: the vocal part(s) above the basso continuo, and the other instruments (if there are any) above the vocal part(s).

Oh, I see what you meant, now. It is not a piano score. The top part is for the violins in unison, and the bottom one for the basso continuo.
I don't know, I find this version slightly dull.

I like the both of them....Johanna Stojkovic is more musical using the Handel melody along with the Tempo n this one is smooth n simiple...melody n the rythm is smooth!!! but both are perfect!!!
