not really, I have cut keyholes like that with a conventional lathe. 5mm wide with a cutting depht of 0.05 to 0.10mm. Its really easy on soft metals and goes with almost no force.
Instead of using one tool for OD and ID turning I would use 2 and keep the spindle at a constant speed while it's turning it. If you have to make a couple of thousand parts I suppose it saves some power if you don't have to stop the spindle all the time and it's better for the machine as well. Plus: It's a smoother and faster way anyway.
These videos of CNC lathes are all well and good and everything, but they don't really teach anything. It's just some, "Hey, look at this," type stuff. But I guess that isn't the point. At least this video is better than most since it actually tells you what the tools are and what's going on.
not really. if the customer has a CAD file of the part he wants you could generate toolpaths really quickly, if you had to do it all from scratch maybe an hour.
The GTV is capable of high-speed threading. There is very precise synchronization between the spindle and the tool. It may look like the spindle is just spinning independently, but in reality the spindle speed is linked with the tool feedrate.
What is the brand name of the nibble broaching tool?

Try to do this in one operation without two spindle machine.

That's fast.
Making a program for this would take if i'm correct 4 á 5 hours?

With the software we are using it takes about 15 minutes. Simple parts like this we program for free.
