@UnoQueLlegaYDice It was never banned from Irish TV. It was shown on Chanel 4 in the UK as RTE in Ireland didn't like the pilot episode as they're a pack of idiots. However we get Channel 4 in Ireland so banning it would've been pointless and I doubt it would've been done any way as we love it here and aren't easily offended by jokes at our expense. I don't think we have the best sense of humour I just think that when we poke fun at people it sounds good natured rather than pompous. I'm not saying that everyone who isn't irish is pompous but for example, the eurovision song contest on the BBC for as long as I can remember has been presented by an irishman, and you can't ever call them rude, just good naturedly funny, but if it was a posh englishman that might sound rude. No offence to anyone, just throwing that idea out there.
