I've been teaching ESL for over 3 years. If you correct a grammar mistake a student makes and if you can't explain why it is wrong then many students will think you don't know what you're talking about.
This is true of Korean and Taiwanese but not so much of Chinese.
@47Dreadlox That's not my area. I know there are many different tests available for non-English speakers to take. I suggest you google it - that's what I'd do.
I still don't know the difference between TEFL and TESOL.... Can someone tell me the difference?
