I love this video! I took the Ghan coach class in 1988 on an Aussie Rail Pass. I've never seen a Murphy toilet before, or other accoutrements but I love the commentary. At first I thought it was being done by an attendant. Hope you got to see some boomers and brumbies!

This has got to be the world's most underwhelming, boring and unspectacular train trip. If you want to spend 3 days looking at nothing more than completely flat, featureless, red dirt terrain then take this trip. Otherwise don't waste your time and money
His and hers, or hers and hers or his and his closet! Oh how times have changed...LOVE IT!!! I heard there is even a piano bar on that train. is that true? Man, that would be so cool to sip some wine, listening to someone on the piano and watching that amazing landscape!

The ability to say, drive to Darwin, then put your car on the train and relax on your way back, is invaluable!
