The Eggheads lost tonight!!!! I was SOOOOOO cross! I knew the answer to the question that lost them the game. I hope they get to twenty in their next run. It's been a bad week this week- Daphne's the only Egghead who hasn't been knocked out at all. Two eggheads out tonight and last night, and on Tuesday they came dangerously close to being beaten single-handed again. I REALLY hope they have an easier time of it tomorrow.

I saw Eggheads tonight, and I felt sorry for Judith. I knew the answers to both questions she got wrong, so when she gave the wrong one, my heart sank, especially after the second one. Me too. I was very glad to see her win her head-to-head last night though. The Eggheads had a bad week last week- three of them were out on two days, and they lost on Tuesday. All five of them were in the final, and CJ was on his best behaviour- he didn't say anything rude.
By the way, there is one thing I'll say for CJ. When he doesn't know an answer at sudden death he at least guesses. Daphne passed last week, which made me cross. I remember one time- back when CJ was my fave Egghead- CJ didn't know what sport a certain person played, so he just said the first thing that came into his head. And it was just as well that he did, 'cos he was right. Daphne would do well to take note of that.

Yeah- Dermot is a lot friendlier than Anne Robinson. I must confess something CJ said made me laugh last night- it was something related to the question (shock, horror!). He was asked which sea creature is very good at problem-solving- it's an octopus. He explained that they put lego bricks in tanks with octopuses- LOL! I believe it was fixed, too. The questions the eggheads didn't get right were just too simple for them not to know. For a gaggle of idiot girls to beat them was just too far fetched. Plus it was 5 Eggheads against one bimbo. Sorry but it was rigged.

eggheads is still going and the only thing thats changed is the host - jeremy vine is doing it now. i preferred dermot though

According to their wikipedia page, jeremy vine is a new host. Also, there are episodes being recorded now so why on earth are they showing these repeats?? Also you may as well replace dermot with a robot as he always says the same stuff in an incredibly monotonous voice.

The Eggheads lost tonight!!!! I was SOOOOOO cross! I knew the answer to the question that lost them the game. I hope they get to twenty in their next run. It's been a bad week this week- Daphne's the only Egghead who hasn't been knocked out at all. Two eggheads out tonight and last night, and on Tuesday they came dangerously close to being beaten single-handed again. I REALLY hope they have an easier time of it tomorrow.

Yeah. I was REALLY scared they'd lose two in a row tonight, but luckily they didn't. I hope they have another run of wins in double figures at least. The longest run they've had while I've been watching is twenty-six. As much as I hate CJ, I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for him this week, because Dermot made nasty remarks about his shirt(and CJ wears some fantastic shirts- that's the only thing I like about him).

Yeah- he didn't flirt with her as much last night, did he? I felt sorry for Judith last night. You mentioned before how sport was Judith's weakest category- well I can relate to her there. I'm HOPELESS at that category- I hardly know any of the answers.

I like football as well- I've been watching Euro 2008. The unthinkable happened tonight- I knew a question in the sport round! My favourite category is entertainment. I'm good at it- I often know the answers to sudden death questions.

I saw Eggheads tonight, and I felt sorry for Judith. I knew the answers to both questions she got wrong, so when she gave the wrong one, my heart sank, especially after the second one. CJ was acting like a tosspot again tonight (if one person deserves that language, it's him!)- he was being VERY nasty to Daphne!

Me too. I was very glad to see her win her head-to-head last night though. The Eggheads had a bad week last week- three of them were out on two days, and they lost on Tuesday. All five of them were in the final, and CJ was on his best behaviour- he didn't say anything rude.

By the way, there is one thing I'll say for CJ. When he doesn't know an answer at sudden death he at least guesses. Daphne passed last week, which made me cross. I remember one time- back when CJ was my fave Egghead- CJ didn't know what sport a certain person played, so he just said the first thing that came into his head. And it was just as well that he did, 'cos he was right. Daphne would do well to take note of that.

I couldn't hear CJ, but I see what you mean about Judith's reaction. I was interested in seing all their reactions. Chris just looked mildly surprised, Daphne went "WHAT?!", Kevin didn't show any emotion at all, and C.J. had his head bowed even before Dermot said the answer, he knew it was wrong obviously.

Yeah- Dermot is a lot friendlier than Anne Robinson. I must confess something CJ said made me laugh last night- it was something related to the question (shock, horror!). He was asked which sea creature is very good at problem-solving- it's an octopus. He explained that they put lego bricks in tanks with octopuses- LOL! I'd LOVE to see an Octopus playing with lego- that would be so funny!

I have to say I don't like CJ next to Judith- he keeps flirting with her and it gets on my nerves. There was one show when CJ said something like "At least if this is wrong I get to sit next to the gorgeous Judith in the final round", because she'd already gone out. And the camera zoomed in on Judith and she looked like she hoped he got it right so she didn't have to sit next to him- that made me laugh.

Me too- their record so far is 74 I believe. I confess I was scared they were gonna get beaten single-handed again last night- the butler who was playing in the final round was very clever, and he took them into sudden death. There were only three Eggheads left tonight- the last two games have been a bit nerve-wracking. Hopefully they'll have an easier time of it tomorrow.
