I know the Misfits have a bad rep, but then again, I don't care. They're music and style is more diverse and trendy. Jem and the Holograms, however, always sing about love and morality and it sounds sugary to the point that your teeth hurt. "Beat This" and "Last Laugh" are their only fierce songs. If Jem is ever rebooted, I hope their music would be as upbeat as The Misfits. Just because they're the protagonists, doesn't mean they have to be all rainbows and unicorns.

@HeyItsTheGodDamn15th 100% disagree with you! Ellen Bernfield who is the singing voice of Pizzazz, and Britta Phillips who is Jem's singing voice sing in two entirely different styles. To compare the two is like keeping ice cold in a furnace. Have ever listened to Glitter and Gold, or Music is Magic? Those two songs have some of the highest notes Britta ever sang, and she nails them flawlessly!

@OmegaX2000 Jem is back. They ran an entire marathon of the show May 28th from 2-5 PM, and it she is back in full rotation 4 times a day! Over 200,000 people tuned in that day to watch it according to the Nielson's. The toys probably won't come back until there is a new Jem series (if that happens).

Jem actually ran from 1984 to 1988, it was made for a few different countires, also jem is being remade into a big screen movie sumtime this year or next,two different girls played the voice of jem, one for the singing part and the other for the acting voice part, the girl that sang the songs for jem is still recording musik today under a different name

When the show aired on tellevision, I always remembered her hair being bright green. It's only on the DVD's that her hair is that nasty brown color. My guess it was do to the restoration process.
