And (although many people like to think so) it is absolutely NOTHING like stripping! You wear cute costumes and get to dance above everyone and get the crowd hyped up. People CAN NOT touch you, even a little bit, you have security watching you the whole time and if they see anyone so much as lay a finger on you, the person is thrown out.

I'm a technically trained dancer and although you don't really need any technique (besides at least knowing how to dance on beat), it definitely helps you stand out more from the dancers who are not technically trained, it's pretty obvious which ones are and which ones aren't...So the people bashing her for doing this are probably just jealous that it's not something they can get a job doing...
