  • ramma jamma fighter pilots - these cats were the fukin donkey's dick - meaning large and in fukin charge! NIIIIIIIICCCCCCEEEEE. " Watch the binaries on the tim toms those binaries are gettin a little cloudy"......LOL. Why is scojo Ronald McDonald now of the BD McDrum scene? He used to be a badass.

  • nice high top sneakers playas

  • the queers of....92

  • 1:29 - 1:50

    OH...MY...GOD.

  • @ziggyrig What warm up is that called?

  • Is that Lee Rudnicki getting on the bleachers at 5:24-5:27???

  • without using obscene words to describe this line like other people, this line is pretty dirty for the talent they have. this makes Cadets look like the Bridgemen.

  • @jackhammer10101 this line is pretty damn clean man...and it produced some of drum corps most influential caption heads of the past decade

  • @TheRippdogg

i dont understand...this line is REALLY dirty, IMHO... let me tell you about me... i was in VK '91-'92...i received private lessons from dave dillulo, tom float and a student of freddie gruber...my brother won a championship with Cadets in '93...almost EVERONE that is great in DCI drums knows my brother...

i was taught by the one of the greatest jazz educators in the world, Don Gunderson...

except at 1:30, this line is dirty....listen to "1994 Cadets drumline" on youtube..

  • At 4:21 the farthest left snare drummer should have better discipline than to wipe his face like that. Even in warm-up. Great video though. By far my favorite Corp. Also my favorite year for this corp.

  • 2:57 lmfao

  • drums so high!

  • yea, cavies play flam i am

  • wow, what ever that flam excersize is that the snare are playing at 1:31 is awsome

  • @rootbeerazor Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think its called, Flam I Am

  • @AziZune It is not Flam I Am. it appears to be a stock flam variation exercise.

  • Awesome

  • watch the binarys on the timp toms......

  • This show kicked all sorts of ass. Too bad its not posted.

  • weak tenor solo in electric wheelchair

  • @zace98 hell yea

  • It's really too bad they had such a rammin' book; they ended up not getting rewarded on the field for the talent they put out there. This really was the bookend of ramma-jamma-fighter-pilot lines.

  • Don't forget Mike Apodoca and Matt Altmire on the quad line. Dudes are awesome. I had the pleasure of being under the instruction of both of them. Altmire in 2006 and Apodoca in 2007. Really cool dudes!

  • Who is the instructor talking at the very beginning (and at a few spots throughout the video)?

  • @Papermate123123 His name is Scotty Sells. Aged out in 1991. He was our Tympanist. Was hired as the pit instructor for 92

  • murray gusseck? hahahaha

  • probabaly one of the best snare lines i've ever seen....they really set the standerd of drum corp..

  • notice the guy with the blue windbreaker on at 2:07? it's scott johnson. he was with SCV from 91-93. you can spot that mullet anywhere.

  • what exercise was the first one the snares played in the dark????

  • "How you guys doin' today?", "Suck'n dick." Lol....

  • "oh boys, hit it!" lmao

  • that guy who keeps talking between clips is hilarious

  • uhh i need 2 start drum lessons so i can get that good :(

  • sick

  • I know that I am working on increasing my degree of mulletude as it has a direct correlation to my degree of choppetude.

  • uh Impulse didn't exist in those years

  • Oh boys! ...Hit it....

    (countoff)

    lmao!

  • Which one is Queen?

  • Far right, if you are looking at the line... pretty sure...

  • The only thing that has changed is the haircuts and the underarmor...fairy.

  • that's the gayest thing anyone has ever said.

  • spirit of atlanta alumni scotty sells

  • Who is the guy who is talking most of the video? Dude is halarious

  • piss clean.

  • the warm up at 1:29 was virtually perfect!!

it may have been pretty easy at a slow tempo but wat they played right there was crazy

  • thanks Myron Vazquez for making this awesome video.

  • What is this from, exactly? I want to see the whole thing ... Original, uncut, 90's hair, aquamarine shirts, everything.

  • This is when S C V was G O O D. =)

  • This is also when it was popular to be Jewish.

  • SCV always has been and always will be good... if you think otherwise, try marching Corps, then talk about who is or isn't "good". Any Corps out there is incredible.

  • You may want to do a bit of your own research before making comments like that, as well. =)

  • damn they are clean every year

  • Comment removed

  • whats the excercise called at 1:30 ?

  • Comment removed

  • It's their spree....and that's about as much as I know about the title.

  • so else was in the snareline this year......besides all the usual suspects that everyone already knows?

  • scv was never not badass. and again, look at the fucking talent that came from this line! daaaaaaamn!

  • "how you guys doin' today?"

    "suckin dick!"

    hahahahahahhahaa!!!!

  • haha tenors with the blu blockers on lol

  • Haha, Colin and Nick look so young. I was with Boston Crusaders that year and we did a lot of the same shows as SCV that year. That show and that drumline was always amazing to watch and I feel lucky to have seen them as many times as I did. Same with Cadets, Star and Crossmen in 92.

  • Is there any significance to the t-shirt colors they wear during warmup while they're in halves? It seems pretty random.

  • 2:39 to 3:03 is the most glorious 24 seconds in film making history.

  • i agreeee

  • Anyone notice how many bad asses came from this line? Nick Angelis, Jeff Queen, Colin McNutt and Murray Gusseck. Jesus tap dancing Christ!

  • @LunchBox003 I'm pretty sure all five tenors have taught or do teach corps. One of them teaches Thousand Oaks HS, a very successful group.

  • @LunchBox003 Kevin Erickson... Lol

  • hahahahahaha!!!!!!!! when that dude said sucking dick, who was he talking to???!!!

  • 2:55

    how you guys doin today?

  • Suckin Dick....lol

  • still bad ass!..

  • my favorite thing about the SCV drumline is half the videos of them warming up they are in like peoples back yards, and really random places

  • lmaoo that is true

  • they can do whatever they want they one of the best drumlines in DCI

  • Can anyone get the 92 Fiddler on the roof show to download?

  • you should be able to get it from the

  • you should be able to get it from the DCI web site

  • haha Colin McNutt.

  • anyone else catch some of the dirt on EW?

  • " how r u guys doing today?" "sucking dick!" lol that made me laugh

  • Not sure what they called it. But we play a similar exercise at MSU called "Call the Dog" or sometimes "Carl the Dog"

  • ha. the birth of electric wheelchair

  • at 4:20 far left snare scratches his nose...just thought i'd point that out.

  • the only line ever that made it cool to not play at the tempo given!!

  • and the blue devils the first year they played dity lol

  • i thought it was 94 when they played it

  • you are right it was 94

  • Maybe it was the vid but a little little bit of dirt there at the beginning....but mad props. This was one of the lines which got me drumming.

  • Scotty Sells!!! What a VJ!

  • Love the comment from the guy walking by on the track!!!!

  • Watch them binaries now...HAHA!

  • i like there technique back then more then now

  • scv's tenique was a lot more tight back then. now its really relaxed but they are still good as hell though

  • yeah man! damn straight! I saw this show (lot & field) so many times that summer! And yeah, let's not forget SCV/ Sco-Jo '93! Dude, listen to that show and some of the breaks! All BD influence my friends! but with SCV style... the one '93 break kinda reminds me of BD '90!... (funk in the tenors/ line!) anyway, that's my take.

    Love

    ~""

  • OMG, I had wondered what happened to this video. It was made by Scotty Sells, and distributed to the pit members in 1992. Is there more footage of it? Thanks for posting it!

  • This is all that I have that has beats. The other video I have is just a slo mo montage with cheesy 1992 music in the background.

  • he used to be like in the early 90's right??

  • Yeah, he was on SCV's percussion staff from 1990-1992.

  • Let's be precise, he was percussion caption head for SCV from 1991 to 1993.

  • I know that's what it says in ScoJo's bio on the BD website, but SCV's historical records say otherwise. I am fairly certain he didn't have anything to do with '93 SCV.

  • Yeah, he was caption head in 1993. If you search for videos from 1993 you'll see that golden ski-jump mullet in front of some pretty nice beats! :}

(you were right about 1990; he was a consultant under Hardimon that year.)

  • Well snap, that sure is a Sco-Jo mullet alright.... Touché, good sir! :-)

  • electric wheelchair...nice.

  • nick molenda is my hero. that is all i have to say.
