@IAmNotHGWells Maybe I should remake it then. I have better instruments. I use EWSQ now for all my orchestrations. Give my more recent Chrono Trigger mixes a listen for an example of how they sound.
@IAmNotHGWells I know exactly what you mean, but I think it sounds good both ways, like this is a more slower and melodic version, but I also think it is more of a march.
I was looking, and still am, for a nice remake of the original as an orchestrated track. I were disappointed by the use of the drums most of the artists made, but with this track, I'm satisfied. I also like the pitch or the instrument you used for the melody. Sorry, if I speak gibberish, but I'm not familar with making music.
Hmm, not sure about this one. Panning is too extreme. At 0:48 things start to improve up to 1:00, then the pan gets crazy again till 1:46.
Try centering the panning a bit more and play around with attack and release settings on your string patches. The final icing on the cake will be using automation.
Which sequencer and orchestral soundbank/library combination are you using? (RandomNPC's comment was pretty harsh. Yeah, the track could benefit from some more attention, but it's not ridiculous)
I find I must favor your original, here. This feels rushed by comparison, as though each of the distinct longer notes are hurried and blend into the next without a sense of individuality such as 0:07-0:14 & 0:17-0:26 & all repetitions of those notes. Now, certainly, many people may like that. I happen to prefer to hear each specific part have it's own identity. The longer notes aside, I do like to hear the short rhythmic ones given more emphasis in this version. Would like to hear best of both.
The music is still good anyways (^▽^)=3 Thank you.

I'm not going to give you a thumbs down, as I can see you put effort into this.
However for me, this theme has always been a 'march' rather than an anthem. Louder drums and more emphasis on the brass section, and it'd be perfect.

This sounds ridiculous, the notes hit the height in their volume and then cut off abruptly. A job poorly done.
