This is what tax payers money is paying for? To decide or discuss what this country's language should be? What a waste of time and money. Folks no matter where you are speak what ever you like to speak. Our govt is really wasting our time and money discussing this when we have wars, terrorism, starvation, poverty etc. These probelms dont come from the fact that some people dont speak english. Compromise? Half a bridge--the reason compromise doesn't work. If English were the official language, gov't could save LOTS of costs. One gov't mailing locally to business owners had additional sheets translated into Spanish and Arabic--which cost more in printing, but also raised the postage for sending it. If you're a business owner, certainly you should be able to read English regulations!
