I live in Australia, and I envy the way Americans have these great diners. Great hearty food that kills the appetite. Here in Australia the culture is much different in a negative way, fast food rubbish or expect to pay a high price in the inner city that still doesn't come close to what American dinners serve up. Always knew I was missing out on something:(

Parking in front or in rear. Crowded on weekends although @ 1:20pm on sunny Sat there was plenty of room, no waiting. Sit at counter and watch the cooks in action. I had the 'Smokey the Salmon' and lots and lots of hash browns.

Tried this place with my 3 kids (10, 8, & 6) and my wife. We all had a great meal (Hobo, Greek Omelet, Bacon Cheeseburger) and needless to say we had a great time. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a table - it was worth it. Ate so much we never ate again until late that night.

I went and ate here 2 days ago on vacation. The food here is truly as good as it looks. I ordered the smokey the salmon scramble and it was nice, creamy, fluffy and you can taste the freshness of the salmon in it. My friend had the chipotle benedict and my other buddy had the tuna salad sandwich. The staff here are super friendly and after we ate, they asked if we wanted pictures with the kitchen staff which we gladly accepted.
