It can also mean " bros toung somut sret=y" behind every successful there is a woman. In Cambodia, back in the old anchient day women were equal to men Tthey were in battle, built hospital and children and many others.

Preah Thong and Neang Neek it represent the birth mother and father of the Khmer. Preah Thong have to hold onto the end of the silk in order to go under water of the sea to Neang Neek world. If he doesn't hold onto the silk tightly he would get crush by rock and sea. That's why we do the ceremony the way we do today. To represent the birth mother and father of Khmer.

this wedding song is always sang after the tying knot of the wedding. its wedding the husband carrying his sword and her scarf and fly into the bed room. lol. i should says walk.

It would have been so cool to have Touch Srey Nich sing at my Wedding. I remember the carrying of the sword. In my mind, the kid in me just wanted to pull out the sword and pretend I was a n Angkorian Warrior when nobody was around haha...
