This song just feels so honest to me. Like taking a deep breath to gather and steady yourself is how I feel after listening to this. By the end of the song (lost my way) I feel like I'm letting go of things I allow to hurt. It may be in little bits here and there, but I let it go nonetheless. Amazing song.

This is the song you listen to after a night of raving, etc. The sun begins to rise and you start to feel again and reflect on your life. I feel like this song is about recovery/sobriety. The "love" in this song is the drug/alcohol.. whatever. Everything we've come to "love" about this drug, we realize actually has been hurting us. This song is about letting it go.

That climbing up this huge pit is going to be hard, so your going to keep digging a bit, because its easier than climbing, it makes quitting all the harder, and the the thought of climbing out of that pit you dug, all the more daunting and difficult.

So what you do instead is pull out a joint and get to smoking. Now you have turned a scary situation into a rather fun and hilarious one. Drugs are a major part of it, and also this song, so in that since you are absolutely correct. But there is so much more to it than drugs. I believe that this song is about the trials and tribulations of the electronic dance arena. We roll and party, but eventually we have to grow out of it. And not just the drugs. The whole party scene.

I don't think you understand the lyrics to this song... granted its a nice beat and bgm for a romantic dinner, the lyrics are melancholy. Its about a girl who finds that she no longer loves her ex with the realization that he never treated her the way she wanted. Hence the title and the part, "Its true, I once loved you... Its true you were once mine." So imo, don't listen to this song while your dating or its just bad luck.
