Actually it is a Shelby GT, NOT a GT500... Shelby GTs are regular GTs with some dress up Shelby parts and a couple bolt-on performance things...

first off, the mustang is a gt shelby, which means its a regular gt 4.6 liter, second why didnt the gt get recorded during the race? i bet it had a bad 2nd and 3rd gear and you were too embarrased to film that the gt caught up towards the end. third "the intimidater" you aint DALE EARNHARDT.

And your not Mr. Shelby either... so what's your point? It was me and a couple of my friends having fun at the local track... I actually let my friend Jim, who drives a Mustang, make a pass in my 4 day old Camaro against my other friend Scott, who owns the Shelby GT... As I pointed out int he video Scott spun his tires horribly... I was more worried about video tapping my brand new Camaro than the race. I never expect Jim to win. It was all good fun. No was embarrassed...lighten up!

yea for those using the "slow reaction" time excuse, the ET shown on the boards does NOT count the reaction time (as the uploader noted). You could get a perfect light, or you could sit there for 2 seconds before leaving, you still get the same ET

even still with the Shelby sleeping at the line, the camaro had a car length lead at the beginning, and the Shelby still caught up to it

It was all driver...as the "info box" stated, the SGT driver was asleep at the wheel..that said, the Camaro does have impressive number for a 6 banger...but still, wouldn't you rather have a V8...

Sorry, but reaction time has NOTHING to do with the Elapsed Time (ET). ET starts and stops when you cross the beams... The slow RT just shows that my buddy was just having one of those days... LOL

Sorry, you are wrong. Elapsed time is measured from when you break the starting beam until you break the finishing beam... That is what gets displayed on the boards. RT only comes into play if there is a tie in bracket racing and in modified bracket/heads up. This was a test and tune day to RT has no bearing.

20 MPH head with with 32 MPH gusts!!! Plus the track was pretty slick so basically had to just leave off of idle... no hard launch... argh!
