  • well I didn't find it boring at all, actually I found it most helpful. I ct w/my horse but didn't know where to start with my cat as targeting didn't seem to be the best for him, but the eye contact will be perfect to capture for a first behavior, sooo, THANX FOR POSTING:D

  • Nice! But it does look like Sabrina ate all the pies!

  • @cameronyusuf Yes, she is a chunky kitty! I have tried to put her on a diet, but she will pester the heck out of us for food and we give in because she is too irritating!

  • Good job, Sabrina! This is really cool! I love clicker training, it's so animal friendly and is such a great learning experience!! Awesome video. :) 5*s!

  • Thanks! I love clicker training as well! I am so happy that I learned this method. It is just so much fun! :)

  • This is just too cool.

  • Thanks, I need to do more videos as she is really loving to be trained. It is the only time she gets wet food and I think that is why she likes the training so much. As long as she is motivated by something! :)

  • Glad to see this! We have played with clicker training our 7 indoor cats. They definitely know the clicker means treats! And they would eat anytime, hungry or not! LOL And they say cats aren't as smart as dogs, pffft! LOL We have two that fetch and retrieve endlessly! And I am currently training the kittens to be frisbee kitties! (sort of :)

  • That is really cool! I think it is so rewarding seeing her learn. Cats are really smart and we do not give them enough credit for that. :)

  • Wow, 16 cats! She is a slow learner, but it is fun to train her.

  • I love this also. And the music! I have 16 cats - too bad I don't have the time to work with them. But I'm actually recommending this to the MeanKitty guy who seems to be running out of things to do for his cat videos.

  • Sabrina is awsome! Well done, Screw chicken camp! I think cats should be better at teaching a trainer patience! Chickens teach you good timing yes, but what is good timing without patience! hehe!

  • I will keep you posted. I have to say that she was not interested in food until I decreased the amount that I fed her on a daily basis. Now she really is a little hungry and wants the can food. I also only use the can food for training. She gets dry for meals. Keep it up with your cat and together will get ideas from each other. :)

  • I love this!! I have been trying the clicker with my cat, she doesn't seem interested in ANY food that I offer her though :-( I have taught her to target my hand but I wish she liked food!! great job, you just inspired me to keep going with my cat :D please post more of your progress because I'm really interested in training other animals apart from dogs!
