  • Thanks. Now I've always wondered how it works. Two gas struts and a vertical hinge restraint. Someone commented below that there is a lot of wobbling action during opening/closing. I can see that the hinge design is a little wimpy. Possibly, a "fork" on the green part to mount over the yellow part would help. Also, a 3rd or 4th gas strut will also help.
