The Gotchi figurine that came with my Tama-go has limited features. I've seen that if you buy the same figurine separately, it has more features. Are all the Gotchi's that come in the Tama-go package limited or is mine defective?

@stargatefansg1: The figures that come with the unit are called "Lite". You need to purchase the other figures--sold separately--for the full ones.

Is the Tama-Go better than the one that he showed the blue skinnier one?? I have a Tama-Go and I would like to have 2 Tamagotchies and also does the blue skinnier one connect to the Tama-Go???

@01mrcrunch: They are two completely different tamagotchis. The blue one you're referring to is an iD model, and it's from Japan. It is in color, therefore it can't be compared to the Tama-Go in a fair manner.

@01mrcrunch I think the ID and ID L is much better, it's slimmer, in color and far better quality, not to mention it has tons of unlockable features and fun stuff, without having to buy some extra figures. If you have a cellphone that can send files via infra red, you can even send more items (made by yourself or off the internet) and wallpapers to your tama. I got the ID L and it rules.

@KillerQueen427: You do not 'need' the figurines. They do enhance the over all experience though. As for the sound, you can turn it off. The instructions which will come with the toy will give steps on how to do it.

@jtsjjb2009: I didn't pay for this one, as it was sent to me by Bandai before it was released to the public to review it. However, the first wave of the TMGO cost $20, whereas the new second wave costs $10.

@pushad147: B/c you're using a Lite Figure. You need to buy the separately sold figurines, which come with shops, items, toys and clothes.

@SIRA4LIFE: Well the obvious one is, it can of course connect with other Tama-Go's, however besides that, it can also connect with Music Stars (the model previous to this) and the Familitchi tamas.

@thesourcereroflego: They're both so completely different in their own fields. The ID being in the field of color screens and the Tama-Go being in the field of monochromatic screens. For both criteria, they are outstanding in their group. So I'd recommend both actually. :)

@ThePokemaster007: I'm guessing by "realise" you meant "released"? And the answer to that question in, the Tama-Go has been available since the 1st of August. Be sure to check your local TRU, WalMart or Target. Also no, it does not come with batteries.
