  • Great video! Thank you!

  • Amazing, educational, entertaining and thought-provoking, love your work Joe!

  • The lens seems to be a 70-200 VR II, but I think the lens hood is custom or third-party.

  • phil needs a Beer.

  • amazing video was`wondering what size softbox did you use on this amazing shoot

  • Did you make that softbox? or can you buy one?

  • @GabeCoTheJuggernaut It's the EZBox Hotshoe from Lastolite (and looks like the 60cm x 60cm/24"x24" model; it's also available in 38cm/15" and 76cm/30" versions). They also make a similar model in different sizes (up to 96 x 96cm) for studio strobes and their quad-speedlight bracket.

  • "hair and everything is working," ya, you could say that to a man sporting a mullet and a flock of seagulls hairdo.

  • Who knew that such a subtle change would make so much difference!

  • why the pop-up flash is out? O.O

  • @ptlofts It's not used in the exposure, but it's firing off the SB-900 which is in slave mode.

  • @ksgant Thx for the info.

  • 24'', says in the lighting setup at 3:16.

  • anyone know if that is a 24" or 30" ezybox?

  • You magnificent bastard McNally

  • Brandi: If you watch at the end of the video he shows a diagram of the settings and it shows every detail.

and it was shot with a D700.

  • Hi Joe...what camera were you shooting with in this video??

  • 2:35 sometimes it's just hard to put into words. it's really nice to see people enjoying there work...

  • sometimes a small change can make a big difference!

    Thanks alot.

  • phil doesnt seem too excited about this

  • woohoo i like such shorty tuts :) thanks!

  • I have attended Joe's workshops at Photoshop World (including the full day one) and I really need a video set that I can watch over and over again. Seeing how things are set up really helps but I need to watch and learn. Practice, practice, practice. Thanks Joe and I look forward to getting this DVD set soon.

  • Thank you for being an inspiration!
