The feds thought he went over to the other side and tried to kill him. He survived and made a name for himself as a mob boss. But when the feds learn that Buddy is the son of the old guy, they are gonna take out his heart and give it to him, because of the intel he can give them. Reynolds finds out and kills them both. He avenges the other feds that died.

Yesterday i watched Smokin' Aces and at the beginning i didn't checked what's the happening in this film but in the end I understood the story. Smokin' Aces is a very nice film and I love the track, but you should hear it when it's not slow. ;)

They want to "hit the iron while the anvil is hot" which means rush a strait-to-dvd movie to milk the movie for all its worth. Making a last second cash flow. This will kill it because the A-list actors who made the the character driven movie what it is (such as Jeremy Piven, and Reynolds) wont give a strait to dvd launch the time of day.
