It's interesting. I noticed that because the poem was accompanied by music, I perceived it differently from when I just read it on paper without accompaniment. I got more out of the meaning and it touched me in a deeper place. It's as if by adding another sense, your perception of the poem is fuller and more enriching. :)

p.s.: I humbly think that Music can be appreciated regardless of what languages we spoke...it transcends all boundaries. *smiles* .. As regards to the poem, it's a lovely poem by Bishop. I'm sure there are many interpretation of the said poem could be found on the net. But if you asked me, I'd say it's about losing something/someone.. and trying hard not to succumb to the feeling of the lost. (^o^)y
