Take Brian Orakpo for an example, coming out of COLLEGE at 21 years old he was 6'4 255lbs, benched over 500lbs, squatted over 600lbs, power cleaned 400lbs and ran a 4.6 40 yard dash, and had a 40 INCH vertical leap (NOT cheating either).
And there are TONS of guys like Brian Orakpo in the NFL, guys bigger, stronger, faster than him. Most Tight Ends (they catch passes) are the size of the Klitschko's, TE's are usually 6'5-6'8 and weigh 250-280lbs and they can run fast as hell, they're all muscle and no fat.
Look at guys like Dwight Howard, Ben Wallace, Lebron James, Ray Lewis, Ron Artest, Andrew Bynum. I can literally list THOUSANDS more if you want me to. The smallest guys in the NFL are the corner backs who are usually around 5'11 200lbs, the NBA the PG who is usually around 6'2. THOSE are the would be heavyweights.
Honestly I have not met ONE person in my school of thousands of people that actually WATCH boxing. It is very unpopular here we only tune into the big fights.
By playing sports in high school you get scholarships to universities, so instead of paying like $40,000 per year you get in free and get an education as well.
The average NBA rookie gets paid 1 million per year! These guys get paid to play a fun sport. What sounds more attractive, getting punched in the face, getting hurt, giving it your all in training etc. or getting paid millions to play an easy sport? If you're a decent play you get paid around 5 mill a year...
The same thing goes for football players, although they don't get paid nearly as much as NBA players they still make millions per year just to play a game. Boxers must FIGHT each other to earn a pay check. You can go ANYWHERE in America and find plenty of basketball courts, you can play football anywhere as well.
Not only do these NBA players get paid good money but their profession brings them a lot of fame, these people are always partying with famous celebrities.

This is how football/Soccer/basketball/baseball works. A football roster consists of around 30-40 people, soccer around 15, Basketball around 14, baseball 18.
Kids join these sports, those rosters are then SPLIT UP into TWO teams. The A and B team, the A team has the BEST athletes/players, the B team doesn't, BOTH teams compete SEPARATELY meaning schools will have up to 60-80 people playing football total, same thing with basketball and baseball.
Nearly EVERY single school in America has sports, I'm not making this up. We literally have HUNDREDS of thousands of teens/kids that play these sports. We aren't limited like all the other countries, we have a WIDE variety of sports to join for free! I've got a friend that's 6'8 250lbs and he's a pitcher! My little brother who is 15 is 6'5 220lbs and plays basketball.
Not everyone makes it professionally, but A LOT of people play unprofessionally. Do you understand?

Nearly EVERY single school has a sports team, boxing gyms are very rare (There are only about 6 in my city with over 1.1 million residents) and when you do find them they cost a lot of money. The biggest kids will all play Basketball or Football (Football=up to 50 players on a single team!), the others play baseball and soccer. Do you watch the NBA or NFL? There are a crap load of guys bigger and stronger than Wlad...

Take Brian Orakpo for an example, coming out of COLLEGE at 21 years old he was 6'4 255lbs, benched over 500lbs, squatted over 600lbs, power cleaned 400lbs and ran a 4.6 40 yard dash, and had a 40 INCH vertical leap (NOT cheating either).

And there are TONS of guys like Brian Orakpo in the NFL, guys bigger, stronger, faster than him. Most Tight Ends (they catch passes) are the size of the Klitschko's, TE's are usually 6'5-6'8 and weigh 250-280lbs and they can run fast as hell, they're all muscle and no fat.

Look at guys like Dwight Howard, Ben Wallace, Lebron James, Ray Lewis, Ron Artest, Andrew Bynum. I can literally list THOUSANDS more if you want me to. The smallest guys in the NFL are the corner backs who are usually around 5'11 200lbs, the NBA the PG who is usually around 6'2. THOSE are the would be heavyweights.
Honestly I have not met ONE person in my school of thousands of people that actually WATCH boxing. It is very unpopular here we only tune into the big fights.

By playing sports in high school you get scholarships to universities, so instead of paying like $40,000 per year you get in free and get an education as well.
The average NBA rookie gets paid 1 million per year! These guys get paid to play a fun sport. What sounds more attractive, getting punched in the face, getting hurt, giving it your all in training etc. or getting paid millions to play an easy sport? If you're a decent play you get paid around 5 mill a year...

The same thing goes for football players, although they don't get paid nearly as much as NBA players they still make millions per year just to play a game. Boxers must FIGHT each other to earn a pay check. You can go ANYWHERE in America and find plenty of basketball courts, you can play football anywhere as well.
Not only do these NBA players get paid good money but their profession brings them a lot of fame, these people are always partying with famous celebrities.

You realize nearly EVERY SINGLE in America is allowed to join a school sport in Hockey, Basketball, Football, Swimming, Gymnastics, wrestling, Tennis, Golf, Soccer etc.! These sports are 100% FREE! Do you understand? These sports take away our BEST athletes. The average age most kids start boxing is around 12, even then you HAVE to pay $30-$100 a month which most people can't afford.

This is how football/Soccer/basketball/baseball works. A football roster consists of around 30-40 people, soccer around 15, Basketball around 14, baseball 18.
Kids join these sports, those rosters are then SPLIT UP into TWO teams. The A and B team, the A team has the BEST athletes/players, the B team doesn't, BOTH teams compete SEPARATELY meaning schools will have up to 60-80 people playing football total, same thing with basketball and baseball.

We aren't limited like all the other countries, we have a WIDE variety of sports to join for free! I've got a friend that's 6'8 250lbs and he's a pitcher! I live in a city with a population of over 1 MILLION yet we've only got 2 free boxing gyms. We've got Karate gyms, ALL sorts of MMA gyms, kickboxing etc. America is STACKED with sports.
The FIRST time I played sports was when I was 6 years old! YES, we've got YOUTH sports as well! All of America's BEST athletes are taken by ALL these sports we have.

No it isn't LMAO, Boxing is SWEPT under the rug in America. The only fighters anyone really watches really are Mayweather and Pacquiao. On our sports channels here in the U.S there is almost NO coverage of boxing whatsoever only when Mayweather or Pac fight.
I live in a city with a population of 1 million and there are literally only 9 boxing gyms in the entire city.
Boxing is MUCH more popular in Mexico, the UK, and ESPECIALLY Europe.

We RARELY have to pay for school sports, at most we have to spend $20. How are you going to block someone like Brian Orakpo who's 6'4, 260lbs, can bench press 500lbs (by the time he was 21 years old), deadlift 400+, squats 600+ and has a 40+ inch vertical leap.

In order to join boxing you must WANT to, instead ALL these sports in America are implemented into our schools and are not only easy but free to access. How many kid boxers have you actually seen? Now how many of those kids made that decision by themselves and NOT their parents? Most kids who do box are at the age of 12 and no younger.
