@BBALLSchiele32 I don't think there is a way to do this. If I want them to stay out of the way of my windows, I usually would have to resize my windows a little bit. Just make them a little bit thinner and place the widgets on the left or right side of them. That's what I do, anyways.
I think it's just a matter of the internal microphone on the MBP vs. my Logitech USB headset. Headset sounds way better. In this video, I actually sound like a have a cold. :\
This still works in Lion but you have to unset your Widgets to their own space via the Mission Control system preference pane.

how do u keep the widgets from coming up in my browsers? or anything else i open. i just want them to stay on my desktop
