The GB Football team should only have English players in its squad,and definately no Beckham,if Beckham is picked for the GB squad it will be a farce and show its not being taken seriously.

I don't understand why Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland associations are so against the GB team. They say they will lose there respect as a different nation to England? well England has no problem about a GB team.

There's not ONE hi profile Welsh or Scottish player who's counted himself out. Even if they're not wild on playing for GB, they ARE keen to play for Psycho, he is very respected in the game!

'Britain' is an alternate name for the UK.

Northern Ireland is as much part of Britain as England is. Great Britain is a geographic term.

Team GB - is the nickname of the United Kingdom at the Olympic games.

I do hope that they pick an even squad, I'd like to see Bale, Ramsey, Vokes and maybe either Gunter or Adam Matthews from Wales, Jordan Rhodes, Tom Cairney and Paul Hanlon from Scotland, and Corry Evans and Lee Hodson for Northern Ireland, at least... Straight away that's a pretty strong group of players. Two of the three over-age players should be from Scotland, Wales or NI as well, I think Beckham's a given considering it's the London Olympics. Could be good to watch.
