OMG ! Listening to this song and all those memories come crushing down. Me as a 24 year-old German falling in love with this country while working at the mine at Mt. Newman (W.A.) in 1983/84. Kangaroo hunting at night, lots of Fosters, me and the blokes trying to make the best of life in this desert town while Australian Crawl and Goanna provided the soundtrack .

Goanna manor was an old house/mansion in St Kilda, Melbourne that the band were renovating in return for free rent....It was the base for the band management, though I'm not sure who actually lived there since I never actually slept over. It was a LONG LONG time ago!!!

I'm with Pokernuts. This song makes me happy, but sad at the same time. I get all sentimental when I listen to the old Aussie stuff. It's a shame they're only really known in mainstream music circles for Solid Rock. This song was very much underrated. Also, there wasn't enough clos-ups of Shane's sister Marcia in the clip. She was hot.
