Any army could have produced a tank like the Tiger or even better. But if you spend all your resources one developing a tank in a middle of a war you not going to have enough tanks to fight the enemy.

My grandfather was the commander of the tank (has died in 1996), it told that t-34 with a gun of 76 mm was weaker than a tiger 6, and left on a tiger from two parties. t-34 the tiger lined one, but another t-34 at the expense of the best manoeuvrability was beaten by a tiger-6 in a board. After occurrence t-34-85 the situation has changed. Especially it was pleasant to tankmen ИС-2 . And the most perfect car was a sou-100. Stories of tankmen, it is much more interesting than kitchen theorists.
Total ripoff, you get only 6 missions per side, and the mission editor is a total scam. It is non-functional, it was just a ploy to get you to buy the lousy game. Crooks.

depends really what made the T-34 armour good was because i hade slopped armour and it was way faster then the Tiger but the tiger hade thicker armour and a WAY Better Cannon and highly trained crews sure it matters who has the biggest gun but it matters who wields it
Just a question. Why aren't you adjusting the range on your gunsight? You aren't supposed to guess and aim higher over your target. You put the sight directly on the target, adjust the range to what you or the commander thinks it is, then fire. Hit. That simple. If the T-34 is about 500 meters away, set the sight to 500 meters. Your sight is set to 0 meters.
@TheNewCommissar totally agree. all crewmembers estimate, you add the values and then divide by the number of crewmen. first shot always +200m. not using the sights is too inaccurate.
T 34 is king because of sloped armor, wide tracks for minimal ground pressure, handling well over any terrain, the 76mm and the 85mm gun, being 90,000 strong in the war years compared to about 5,000 for the Tiger, and they carried infantry straight into the fight. Not to mention that the Soviets were going to have their victory, no matter what the cost. Sounds like a kick ass army vehicle at it finest to me.
@landerguy26 did you knew that in many occasions,that t-34 wont even try to shoot tiger tanks,they'll rather smash their t-34 against the tiger tank,knowing t-34 has better armor and better numbers than tiger tank...

t-34 has a decent enough armor though the tiger has better armor,it doesnt mean that t-34 has an awful armor.the sherman tanks were the tanks that really has an awful armor...
@MultiMarcus99 t 34 armor was indeed good especially of the t 34/85, and talking about the quality of the armour by mid 1943 german quality dropped cuz they run short of noble material such manganese and so on, wich led to more brittle armor wich was then of the same quality of russian ones (prone of spalling); also they run short of tungsten wich led to adoption of AP round with W or St (iron and steel core) instead of the old Hk (tungsten core)
@MultiMarcus99 well 45mm sloped between 40° and 60° is indeed an exellent armour since it was actuallt born in 1941 compare it with what axis produced at that time, hardly 50mm vertical (panter side was 40 at 60° wich is less resistent and prone to bounce shells than russian 45 at 45°); the armor of original t 34 was very good but poor internal design, lack of reliability almost no radios made early t 34 rubbish tanks

@teslagod2003 -II- russian tank-steel was nearly as good as the german. but of course it was not the same because germans made the armor plates harder by putting in Mangan. the results were that german tanks had a 15% higher resistance against enemy fire than before!

remember reading a crazy war story while back where, there was a tiger/T34 standoff like this 1-1 near the deniper close to the Korsun Pocket. Tiger fired missed, T34 fired it did nothing when the tiger fired again it hit so close to the 34 almost a direct hit, with a lucky shot the t34 fired and hit the barrel of the tiger, makeing it usless. wether the t34 destory it not for sure, but one hell of a war story!

One of the main reasons (along with speed, manouverbility, sloped armour) that the T34 was so successful was because it could be produced/replaced so fast and in such great numbers.

There were only 270 Tigers operational during the battle of Kursk and performed very highly effective! between march and july in 1943 the 503rd and 502nd heavy tank battalions together destroyed over 3,100 soviet tanks during Battle of Kursk!

u can not compare german and russian (or american) tank-steel just because of a number of mm´s....
see: early M4 Sherman had 79mm frontal armor by about 30° and even Pz III H with the 50mm /L42 could penetrate that....
The Sherman´s 75mm/L38 can´t penetrate the later PzIII versions frontal 70mm armor wich had 10° incline!!

And the T34 was not round - _ -..If you really knew your tanks, it was box shaped, And the only reason it was good against MEDIUM tanks was because of its sloped armor. @Trymlokk huh,wars are not won on a head to head combat,it's won through brilliant strategic tactics and battle plans...
true,tigers are much beter and stronger than t-34,but when battle goes on,it's not really about sending 1 tank against 1 tank,it's about how to deal about the entire army...
and the t-34 tactic is to overwhelm it's enemy,while tiger tactic is to withstand overwhelming enemy,but it the end,its quantity that bests the quality...

@Trymlokk well,the very reason that the t-34 proves better cause it was much easier to mass produce which can take a stand against any german tanks,plus tank lost proves much costly for the german tank since it is hard to produce and is very expensive,while a t-34 lost isnt much a worry for the soviets,since it is so easy to mass produce,what matters for the soviets was german tanks be deatroyed no matter how many t-34 is lost..
