Yes, according to some sources it is correct. Now, President Romulo Gallegos traveled to Bolivar, MO to meet President Harry Truman in order to dedicate a statue (monument) to Simon Bolivar. Bolivar, TN es dedicated after this South American independence hero.

July 5, 1947. My father shot it on early Kodachrome. I donated one (video tape) to the library in Bolivar. But never heard from them. I donated the film to the HST Presidential Library.
