Not just the best Groove, but one of the best tracks ever layed down.

This is an amazing display of talent being able to mix a beat and then lay down the piano solo.

Quik said that he used his shower in the studio for the rain sound, that's banana's. And he uses it to roll into the next track (do I love her?) with Sugafree.

I think Quik is totally underrated as a producer, and I would rate him up there with Dr Dre and Quincy Jones.

He may not sell as many records, but the quality of his music is just as good, especially the mixing.

I remember when I first heard this song in Westwood LA, it was a very pleasant surprise to find this on a rap album.

This song is perfect for cruising around LA, (especially Sunset and Wilshire).

Much love to Dj Quik for creating the soundtrack to LA with this track.
