  • :30 Rick Zumwalt RIP

  • Well one of Batman's biggest comic book gimmicks is that he doesn't kill anyone. One of the reasons why he keeps going toe to toe with Joker. He feels responsible for 'creating' him and thus will not kill him. Same goes for any and all villians he faces. Raz Al-Gul calles him weak because of it. I honestly never noticed this in the film though. I was like 7 when this came out...lol

  • @L0rd0fDarkn3ss he kills in this because if you do your reasearch the creator BOB KANE originally created him to carry a gun and kill evil people. He worked with Tim burton when creating this movie. So you could say burtons films followed the first batmans comic and everything after followed the PC version batman became later.

  • not surewhat all the fuss is about. batman walkin minding his buisness, giant guy threatens his life, batman disposes of im before he could get hurt. wouldnt anyone do this in his situation? batman not killing is unrealistic.

  • @burtonrules123 Is that your fucking arguement ? Now I DEFINITELY know that you are not a true batman fan just some fanboy on burtons bandwagon

  • @burtonrules123 Uh no in this case he easily could've tied the guy up or subdued, it's not like that big guy in '89 where he had to use the bell tower or Axis Chemicals where it had to be blown up.

Batman faced far more obstacles in Batman Begins at the drug circle, and he just took 'em out like a ninja without killing 'em

And Batman isn't supposed to smile like that when he kills, last I checked that's a Joker kinda smile.

  • @Warriorcats64 no your um, whats the word...WRONG.

  • pobably my favorite scene in the movie.

  • Fuck yeah Batman.

  • Michael Keaton and Tim Buryon is the best batman for me- but it's just an interpretation folks- just like there are many version of Bayman in comics and artists version of him..

But I love Michael Keatons little - I got you- smirk! Awesome!

  • fuck you youtube

  • I don't care if Batman kills :)

  • (0:43) Cool guys don't look at explosions

  • Another reason why nolan is superior

  • @SuperMicklovin why? batman killing criminals is fine cause they're dead and gotham's a better and safer place, nolan's batman is too pretentious and self righteous for me

  • @elcap22 Because it is not batman. Batman does not kill.

  • @SuperMicklovin agreed

  • @SuperMicklovin not true but im not gonna argue this tired point over and over with stupid trolls.

  • This isnt a batman ! Te real One was in THE DARK NIGHT :)

  • "You ain't shit!"

  • Batman really blows him!!!

  • Awesome moment, don't fuck with b-man

  • press 9 for batman punch

  • Pause at 0:40

  • adoreii

  • @57stewie

    Still better than Bale's Batman.

  • @KillianReed I love Bale's Batman. (apart from the throat cancer voice)

  • Lol Batman trollface 00:38

  • Batman 1: truck of henchmen shot from airplane (Batman comments "As much as I hate to take human life, I'm afraid this time it's necessary.")

    hence batman does kill.

  • batman kills???? :O NOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • Lol if the TDK Joker meet this Batman he's just FUCKED.

  • @Wyzzkyd so true

  • @Wyzzkyd Very true man

  • I love the way Batman beats up the first henchman without even looking at him and the way he is so casual about it.

  • Easily the best Batsuit of them all. However, Batman does not murder people. Way to not do the homework Tim Burton, you talentless hack.

  • @tdelamont LOL, Burton is a talentless hack just because of that? He single handedly made the two most untouchable Batman movies out there, idiot.

  • @xSamuraisEdge No, he's a talentless hack because he is incapable of creating or sustaining a cohesive story arc, framing a shot, developing depth of character, filming an action scene, or coaxing anything more than a cursory line reading out of his talent. He *also* didn't do his Batman homework. I will say this, though: He has a knack for hiring fantastic art directors. His movies look fantastic, they just lack any emotional heft. All style, zero substance.

  • @tdelamont He does in the comics though

  • @CYBERDOODY no he doesn't murder people. tim burton got that wrong

  • @exo84 He did kill criminals in the comics

  • @CYBERDOODY what? go check your facts, he doesn't, he beats the crap out of them and scared shitless. killing is breaking one of his moral codes second to never use a gun. Justice League members don't kill people, with an exception of Woman in Infinite Crisis.

  • @exo84 He beats the crap out of them yes; in the old comics he would beat them and usually they would fall of buildings and die anyway

  • @exo84 dude in the first comics he did kill, he even carried a gun. do your homework. Even captian america once (and now) carries a gun and kills. sorry bro. but you're wrong

  • @exo84 Like a number of people said, he did kill in the earlier comics before the industry got censored. Regardless of that he has killed in every incarnation in the past 70 years. Even a number of times in the past decade. Sounds to me you're one of those fanboys that only read selective Batman comics, (probably only Year One, TDK Returns and The Killing Joke) that pretends to know everything about the dark knight when in fact you really don't.

  • @MisterMeddle man stfu, its not like we are winning the Comic Fact prize of the year, i don't try to pretend. If i'm wrong, i'm wrong fine and simple, i got that memo a while ago. there is no need to sound like a dick about it.

  • @exo84 LOL settle down dude.

  • @exo84 Well by the looks of it I'd say he resisting arrest.

  • @exo84 Just kidding around, but again Batman is a above the law and that punch to stomach didn't make him to happy and heck if you think that pisses him off you should look at Batman's reaction to the Batman Christmas song on Robot Chicken. Just look it up its funny as hell.

  • wow THis movie sucks batman does not kill and the plot make no sense

  • @allthingssuper plot makes perfect sense, and batman's never killed. Were you born yesterday?!

  • @allthingssuper Thats what batman does not intentionally kill.

  • @allthingssuper batman does kill

    read the early comics

  • @elcap22 so stories not even in continuity count I mean no disrespect to each his own but in my opinion I do not like batman killing

  • @allthingssuper ok....... not even in self defence?

  • @elcap22 No I just said that I personally dont like this film or batman killing but if you do that is fine Lets just stop arguing as we are going to get nowhere

  • This batman so much more badass than bales and nolans version, and this movie would of been so much better if it didn't have such a cheesy villan I really wish keaton and burton would done more batmans together.

  • @SuperBshady Damn right about that we need a real 3rd Batman movie. Come on Burton.

  • Was that Bull Hurley from "Over the Top"?

  • @pedazodeboludo Sure was.

  • @pedazodeboludo Indeed it was, Rick Zumwalt.

  • 0:39 Owned! XD

  • This was cool back in the day. But in retrospect, it does go against Batman's "Dont kill unless you really have to" policy. He didn't have to kill him, it just saved a lot of time.

  • @Neomac316 That's not his policy. His policy is just "Don't kill....ever". Which is something the newer movies took from the newer comics (even though he let Ra's die in Begins... which he would never do in the newer comics). These movies are based on the first batman comics where he did kill sometimes.

  • @hush00 These movies based on the darkness of Tim Burton. Not any comic. Case in point: The Penguin was Burtons version not the comic gangster version. Batman did kill in this version, only because of Burtons vision of Batman being more of an avenger rather than a savior.

  • @Neomac316 Oh I do agree with this being a real Burton movie. I don't watch this one very often compared to the IMO much superior 89 movie.

  • Ma quello e' BOB BULL HURLEYYYYYYY........grandissimo colosso ricordato per OVER THE TOP con Sylvester Stallone. Che possa riposare in pace.

  • Loved this movie.Keaton was a great Batman.

  • @joekerr666 he was excellent.

  • @joekerr666 I agree.Nothin can beat the original.

  • BULL HURLEY, NOOO!!!!!!

  • You know I do like to point out to all you butt sore Nolan fans that keep adding your two cents into every Burton video; this thung had PLENTY of time to simply remove the bomb from his belt, but no in typical idiot fashion he has to look totally dumbfound and allowed himself to fall. Batman

  • Bull Hurley

  • Some days you can get rid of a bomb.

  • was the best batman sorry....

  • Michael Keaton was such a shitty batman...

  • @Nesninja85 You're kidding right?

  • @zufgh No... he was the worst one out of the bunch!

  • @Nesninja85 Now i know you're high.

  • @zufgh I take it you're a Michael Keaton fan? The last tolerable movie he did, excluding voice-overs, was Jack Frost and it wasn't even that great. He just doesn't fit the batman persona. He's not dark, twisted, borderline schizo, or even an asshole. He's a dork, which there's nothing wrong with that, but put him in films where he shines. It's not his fault he doesn't fit into this role, he was cast poorly. That and I WOULD have to be high to enjoy his batman films.

  • @Nesninja85 Not dark and twisted!? You do realise the majority of the fan base would agree that that was what he pulled off best in regards to the character.

  • @Nesninja85 then I think your clearly on drugs man!

  • @Nesninja85 Michael Keaton kicked ass as Batman !!

  • @bats70 I don't know what it was about him, but I hated him as batman. Everyone else has done a good job, including the most recent of course.

  • @Nesninja85 Including George Clooney? LOL!

  • @Donnymac Now that you mention it, maybe keaton wasn't the WORST batman...

  • @Nesninja85 Yeah I don't agree either. I thought Keaton was the most psycho and dark batman we've had. The newer movies are great, but Bale was never dark to me.

  • @hush00 It's amazing how people opinions can vary so drastically. At least you put your opinion out there without being an asshole about out.

  • @Nesninja85 Yeah I know right, I guess it depends on what you grew up with. It's a good thing we've had so many different Batman movies.

  • @hush00 and there's still more coming!

  • @Nesninja85 I have to do disagree with you on that. He wasn't the worst batman. George Clooney was. That guy was seriously miscast. Even Michael Keaton did a better job than him

  • @Cestro Although they say that he's skinny,i don't don't think he is.NOTHING can beat the original.Tim Burtons directing for the the 2 films was better.

  • @Nesninja85 you dont know good acting. next thing your gonna be saying bale is the best batman! HAHAWHAT A FUCKING LAUGH.

  • @burtonrules123

You don't know anything about good acting at all, Peter Tancordo. You even say you don't care before that Batman Returns doesn't need a plot. I think that explain everything about you. You like movies that are dumb & have bad acting. And if you think Arnold Schwarzenegger is a better actor than Bale, then you don't know good acting based on you like dumb movies. Period.

And Bale is the best Batman to us. If that is funny, then the same can be for midget Batman in Keaton.
