I learned that the hard way :/ But basically i had to get it over him over time and did things I enjoyed and make yourself look great. Just forget about him and hangout with your bestfriends

My girlfriend of 3 years left me for someone who could "take care" of her more (her words).
I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep .. seriously, I never knew I could feel sooo terrible. Losing (and getting rejected by someone you love) is by far the worst feeling in the world!

Thankyou for your advice, I would also like to reccamend to remove things from your space that make it hard to focus on the future. Whatever it may be that reminds you of them. The longer periods you can go without feeling pain the better, untill hopefully it fully subsides. Im still recovering from a 7 year relationship that ended about 2 months ago.

It's the music that does it for me.. Listening to our songs, or generally any song about love. Or even films/ tv programmes- it's hard to stay away from things completely.
The best way i've found to keep my mind off my ex is to keep as busy as possible, just always be doing something to keep your mind focused upon something else.
