I used aspen pellets. Gentle Touch and Aspen Supreme are the 2 brands I was able to get here (SoCal). They were hard to find sometimes, and a little pricey, but had superior odor control, and no icky alfalfa smell!

It's been 12 years since Spike was a baby. I don't really remember exactly how much she ate, but I never "power fed" her, or whatever they call it when you feed large quantities of food to make dragons grow bigger, faster. When she got older, we cut out feeder insects and fed only RepCal pellets and fruits/vegs.
She had an outdoor cage for summer time. Inside, we used heating/lights only during the day.
Wut substrate are you using there?

how much did u feed him when he was a baby?
one more thing... do u keep ur heat lamp and streamer on all day and night or wat?

Spike died in Sept. 07 at age 11.5 yrs.

It was a 40 gallon. 36" wide, about 17" deep, and probably about 17" tall, give or take.

oh ok ya i have a 440 gal tropical fish tank its the same width as a 20l and only a little bit longer but the main dif is its almosty twice as tall
