This movie was good, but the dog dying and Will dying as well is really sad. In the end, most people would forget about him in a few years, and maybe remember him after decays to hundreds of years that he truly was a legend.
The reason why he killed himself with the grenade is that he really wanted to be by/at? his wife and daughter. His purpose, for him, was to find a cure for the mutants/zombies to heal them and he did. After that he wanted that the woman and the kid would be safe on theire trip to the colony, this could only be possible when he blew all of the zombies away.
Exactly, they didn't just put his dead daughter saying "Daddy look it's a butterfly" for the Producer's and Director's health. That would then make the movie suck. And i'm no Critic or rater. I'm just a pre teen who watches the mess-up's and the effects.
I thought the coolest part was the Alpha Male slamming the glass and it shapes a butterfly. And his daughter in his head says "Daddy look it's a butterfly" to signal Neville to put Anna and Ethan with the cure.

This movie was good, but the dog dying and Will dying as well is really sad. In the end, most people would forget about him in a few years, and maybe remember him after decays to hundreds of years that he truly was a legend.

The reason why he killed himself with the grenade is that he really wanted to be by/at? his wife and daughter. His purpose, for him, was to find a cure for the mutants/zombies to heal them and he did. After that he wanted that the woman and the kid would be safe on theire trip to the colony, this could only be possible when he blew all of the zombies away.

Exactly, they didn't just put his dead daughter saying "Daddy look it's a butterfly" for the Producer's and Director's health. That would then make the movie suck. And i'm no Critic or rater. I'm just a pre teen who watches the mess-up's and the effects.

I thought the coolest part was the Alpha Male slamming the glass and it shapes a butterfly. And his daughter in his head says "Daddy look it's a butterfly" to signal Neville to put Anna and Ethan with the cure.

@coolman9999uk Because he's felt at fault for everything that hapenned. For him not getting his family safe and him not making a cure fast enough, and the death of sam was his fault too. He also said that they wouldn't leave the place until they ate him and the mom and her son, so he had to sacrifice himself to save them and atone for what he did. Redemption.
