  • anyone ever heard the song where he talks about the elephants??? whats it called?

  • paulinbin360,

i've never heard him singing about elephants. so i believe he never sang about elephants.

  • I think i do! Is it like a domrey sor(white) that lost his partner, then he's sad cus he lost one too!?

  • sin sisamuth >>> lao-chinese

  • kinhtoc,

if sin si samouth had been "lao-chinese" as you put it, then what??

actually his father was khmer & his mother was laotian + chinese. there4 he was khmer + laotian + chinese.

again, if he had been "lao-chinese", then what??

the cambodians livin' in usa or canada or france are cambodian americans or cambodian canadians or cambodian french, not white americans or white canadians or white french, then what??

  • pkving, that is a very good point. I met Sin Sisamouth personally in May 1975. He's aways considering himself as Khmer and always proud to be Khmer. He even refused to leave Cambodia after Pol Pol took over the country. He's a real Khmer hero. Unlike other Khmer's leaders always think about their families before their country. God bless his soul and his family.

  • sunofcambodia,

    thank you.

as 4 sin si samouth's patriotism, there's no doubt about it. in de early 1970s he produced & sang lots of patriotic songs.

I feel sad that he refused 2 leave cambodia after pol pot took over. my father, who refused 2 leave, changed his mind & decided 2 leave after he realized how barbaric de khmer rouge were.

i often said elsewhere on the internet that the mixed-raced cambodians are intelligent, and most importantly they're very patriotic.

  • outstanding voices...love this song!!

  • love the song, but i dont like the remix. please keep the way it is. sound bad with the remix.

  • a classic from the 1960s by master sin si samouth.

  • outstanding song. Thank Q Mr.Sinn Sisamouth.

  • Very good song.

    Thank you.
