people watching the bands really dont know how hard we have to work. we have to memorize the drills, the sets, the music, marching skills. and it may look easy when your watching them perform but its really not.

@3abby36 OMG RIGHT! A huge problem I have is getting half way through the show and spit running down my face: because of the horn angles my spit always comes back down and gets on my lips and chin. It really messes with my playing ,but you can't move at attention to wipe it off and the trumpets have a section solo about 3/4 into the show! WTF!

It wasn't the camera's sound quality. Whether it's bad or good, you can tell. And it was not the camera. It was the band and they should be ashamed of themselves for playing like that. Out of tune, notes are garbled, missed notes, out of beat...Jesus. The trumpet player's could not hit the high notes for the life of them, yet they attempted to (hint hint: If ya can't get it, don't try it) The faster notes should have been double-tongued for ease, not single-tongued.

The whole reason people fall over when they march backwards is because they put their heels down, it makes your center of gravity behind you, causing you to fall down. Its harder, but you have to march backwards pretty much on the front of your feet. Marching 101...

But we were starting a moving block, I was one down from the back right corner, and I recovered quickly.

The only people who noticed me fall were the people around me. Not even the video caught it.
