Icarus - The BLIND Sulcata Tortoise grazing the grass

i got a blind one too it won't open it's eyes for 5 days what should i do?

That is kick-ass! You go, Stevie Wonder. It is funny when he bites the air, though, but hell, my sighted tortoise does that when he gets overly excited.

His brother from the same cluth (with eyes) is about twice his size. I've tried feeding the blind one in a separate container, and that does help. He just can't get nearly as much food when he doesn't see it. We'll drop him right in front of the food to make sure he gets as much as possible. He's still doing great though!

was it hard to take care or Icarus? Did you have to watch him constantly? I recently found out my baby sulcata Leah is blind, she doesnt really move much and she doesnt eat much. Do you have any tips?

my tortoise had to her have eye taken out 2day because the older one bit her its very sad :( and now were having to sell the older tortoise
