Aww, the pre-Version VI Imprezas are great, especially the old Coupes <3 and with those big arches (like the 22B) and gold Speedlines ^.^ Soooo pretty!

My mate has an E100 Corolla hatch (Euro spec) - So not the WRC shape one, but nevertheless, it was white, so he added a Castrol livery, TTE stickers, Michelin stickers, and some smart 15" 6-spoke Speedlines... Now THATS a sweet first car, especially considering insurance is crazy on your first car in the UK!

@madmax, its not turbo spool, its compressor surge. because these cars ran no pressure relief system (BOV) the pressure from the turbo had no escape path. as the throttle closed, the pressure would have no where to go, and promptly flowed backwards through the turbo, stalling the turbo. that "chattering" sound is the turbo stalling. expensive in a daily driven car, as you will destroy the turbo. but in a rally car.... damn it sounds goooood
