Third, I do not think that forced labor in sweat shops for 12 hours a day living in abject poverty is happy and prosperous for the Chinese
Cuba is turning over to market economy with Fidel Castro leaving office, his brother Raul. China is run by a nationalist party and is ran by a market economy. The people are just getting badly fucked by the system. Forced labour is in 3rd world countries, not Asia. Idiot.
How did Communism work out for the 100 Million innocent people that were slaughter in the 20th century by Stalin, Moa, Pol Pot, Ho Cho Mihn, Castro under the authority of communism? I'll take capitalism any day of the week.
@jg2040 I think you seem to be forgetting something. Pol Pot was more of a nationalist, ergo, national-socialist = Right-wing. American planes killed more vietnamese civillians than Ho Chi Minh ever did. He liberated them. This is a fact, and there is no denying. Castro's people, were happy, until the dissolving of the Soviet Union, and the trade block by AMERICA, became an issue. Mao gave women rights in China, he created jobs and a happy prosperous China at that (Up until the cultural revo.)

@intenzez,my girlfriend is from Vietnam. She came over on a boat the day Saigon fell. They left Vietnam because the N. Vietnamese were going to kill her father because he was on the side of the South. They tell me how Communism destroyed their beautiful country. The people who are not politically connected live in poverty. They say it is 50 years behind the times. When she goes back to visit, they have to sneak toilet paper and feminine products into the country. Everyone is equal, equally poor
@jg2040 Well, admitting that you have an imported asian girlfriend makes your arguement fairly invalid, but I will continue nonetheless. Well, Americans napalmed the shit out of North Vietnamese civillians. South Vietnamese people wanted the french to continue to opress them. Example, Ho Chi Minh's petition sent to the peace talk in France 1918, where he requested the west to acknowledge the rights of the vietnamese people, in general. Your girlfriend is nothing but a puppet for the west.
It's easy. If you love Communism so much, go live in China, Vietnam, N Korea, Cuba. 100 million innocent civilians murdered at the hands of Communism in the 20th century. Millions of people risk everything to flee communism, no one would risk anything to go live in a Communist country. I cannot waste anymore of my valuable time on you. I have to go to work so I can earn money from our beautiful capitalist system in the country that has the highest standard of living on the planet.
@jg2040 I believe I just answered this. China is a nationalist country with a market economy. Look it up. North Korea has a monarch and a ruling class, two things highly opposed by Marx. Also the proletariat rules nothing. Cuba is making the change to market economy with Raul Castro, the new president. Silly, uninformed american. I will watch and laugh as your economy falls and crashes for the 4th time in 5 years. Have a good time at work, "comrade"

Dummy, the monetary policies are devised by a private entity called the Fed which uses a fiat system which by itself is the most pro-free market monetary system ever used. Stop so reflexively regurgitating words that have been pounded through your head which you don't even understand.
@ninuxy Keynesian Monetary Policy, which is clearly what the Federal Reserve System uses, is Socialistic in every way. Whether or not it's perpetrated by a Private Banking system, or the Federal Government, which it is actually perpetrated by both. The Federal Government Support's the Federal Reserve through Compliance, and the threat of violence for those whom do not comply. That is purely Totalitarian and Socialistic in every meaning of the word's.
@Joe11Blue Hahah! You are in a fucking Lala land cupcake. Your entire premise revolves around a bunch of self-declarative prevarications. You said nothing with regard to why the Fed is a Socialistic system but found it upon yourself to push that fallacy for personal self-aggrandizement. Fed's clients are primary dealers, i.e. major financial institutions, and every other bank that operates down the chain. Out of what orifice of yours you pick "thread of violence" is beyond any rational response.
@ninuxy You are aware that the IRS was established to pay the debt to the Federal Reserve System, right? You are aware that if you do not pay your taxes to them without understanding which paperwork to fill out properly, you will have a bunch FBI agent's coming into your home and seizing your asset's, right? Let me guess, you really have no actual knowledge of the system work's, but feel your entitled enough to say you do.
How about you read some Mises, or Rothbard, and open your mind?
@Joe11Blue Oh dear, another conspiracy theorist. Why didn't I see that coming? IRS was formed to collect income taxes, albeit flat rates, to pay for the Civil War, and not after establishment of the Fed, nearly half a century later.
No, if the tax payment is deterred due to paper work mistaks, FBI agents don't swarm your house. Not paying taxes is like going to the grocery store and not wanting to pay for the goods you picked up, then claim tyranny for not paying. Taxes are for gov. services.
@ninuxy The IRS/16th Amendment was ratified February 3, 1913. The IRS was the agency formed by this Amendment. You should probably learn a bit about history before you try to say you know it. The Federal Reserve Act was passed that same year on Christmas Eve.
Wrong again. The Income taxes are what's called Indirect taxes, which only can apply to Federal Employee's. Otherwise it has to be an Excise tax, which the Executive branch has no authority to levy. Again, you have some learning to do.
@Joe11Blue IRS was known as Commissioner of Internal Revenue before 1913--same agency, different name. Perhaps you should stop regurgitating whatever Alex Jones throws at you or reading every piece of drollery you happened to pick on the Internet. Stop being so gullible.
The Fed relates to the banking system; IRS is the agency for collecting taxes. Two different entities with distinct goals.
Income taxes only apply to Federal Employees'? Really? Somebody please give Joe his lollipop back.
Excise tax is base on an "event." When you purchase groceries (sales tax), when you give your parents money for surgery (gift tax--above $12,500/yr), when your inherit something from them (state tax), or when you earn wages ("income tax"). They are all excise taxes and as a matter of fact, an indirect tax.
@ninuxy The Supreme Court, in a decision written by Chief Justice White, first noted that the Sixteenth Amendment did not authorize any new type of tax, nor did it repeal or revoke the tax clauses of Article I of the Constitution… Direct taxes were, notwithstanding the advent of the Sixteenth Amendment, still subject to the rule of apportionment and indirect taxes were still subject to the rule of uniformity.
You should learn yourself, the Supreme court ruled on this in 1916.
@ninuxy The Commissioner was an office within the Treasury. It wasn't the IRS as it is today. Alex Jones!? Really? All of my information is from period author's. You're the on being gullible here.
Perhaps you should go back and look at what President Wilson said about the situation and the action's taken by Senator Aldrich as well. The whole system was setup to provide centralized banking, and supposedly to pay for itself. What a crock that was.
@Joe11Blue Enough with your meretricious babble. Your are obfuscating the history to pander to your tired conspiracy theories. This polemic would have been mildly interesting if I was still in junior high but you grow out of it. Some, unfortunately, get stuck in this perpetual pile of flummery until their brain fries.
The Commissioner had the same purpose: collecting income taxes, period--same as IRS. Regurgitating bunch of names does not make you baseless premise any more valid.
Next time when you copy/paste garbage word by word off the Internet, make sure it has some relevancy to your initial claims. You are just hastily dumping volumes of excerpts without understanding its content. Of course the 16th Amendment does not authorize new type of tax, because the income tax had been levied since mid 19th century. Your point is void to begin with.
Here's what Boris Yeltzin (Russia's first prez after Communism fell) said after visiting a Houston supermarket - "When I saw those shelves crammed with hundreds, thousands of cans, cartons and goods of every possible sort, I felt quite frankly sick with despair for the Soviet people."
Yeah, that capitalism is working out well for us. thx anyways...

How can it be a smear campaign when he's on video tape saying this shit ??
k3304 2 years ago 2
That's just it. It's not a smear campaign! Just as Glenn Beck's and Rush Limbaugh's constant, asinine drivel is nothing more than an exercise of free speech. Funny how crazed right wingers, apparently off their meds, are free to spew their hate to the masses but whenever someone dishes it right back at 'em, they cower in the corner like frightened little girlrs!

Jaime, Good, Van Jones can write a book called "The White Man Got Me Fired" or "Why Im Such A Racist"

I love how liberals always use the same complaint - "this was caused by free market capitalism!"

fucking communists. i'd rather die than watch obama take over this country and pervert it more than it already has been. he should be killed and replaced with someone who works FOR THE PEOPLE, not for his own personal fucking gain and of his corrupt political allies.
