Nice but it's always good to start off with a very neutral base color, like black or white. Bad idea using this maroon looking color. It just doesn't do much for the vinyl design.

Change the base colour of the car so we can SEE the flames. Now it just looks all read with a random bunch of yellow in the front!! Nice job anyway!!

Well I had a tutorial that I was writing on how to make it and I had all my pictures saved and everything but my hard drive got corrupted and now I have lost everything. So I dont have the tutorial anymore and the only pics I have of the process are the ones on my photobucket. But basically I used a bunch of shading and using basic shapes to create master cheif.

this is also how to make reverse flames... put a metallic color for the car and then do what he did to the flames and have the color of the car be the flame... it sucks that you can't have metallic decals

Well its kind of like photoshop. You have layers that you can put primitive shapes on and when you lay them out you can make some pretty nice looking stuff. if you go to forzamotorsport(dot)net search for my username which is ContourSVT. When you get to my username go to one of my posts and then look in my sig for a link to the tutorials thread on the site. I have 3 tutorials in there and there are a bunch of other great tutorials in there to get you started.

Ok. Yea well some may not call it a work of art. I made these videos not to show off but to show people how to do things in the Livery Editor. I have my own peices of art that I do that take 15-30 hours and sometimes more. I was just showing basics of the Livery. All of my other videos on here except my Evo are instructional videos as well.

I couldve done that yes. But I would have had problems with seeing the edges of the fade. I have plenty of time anyway. I was going pretty slow in this movie to show people better. I can finish an entire car with flames in about 15 minutes with my method. Those flames look really awesome on a black car too.

They are used to mask off the gradient. They are the same color as the car so that you wont be able to tell it was a box before. It will just look like the flames.

Completely agree with the guy who mentioned the red square and btw what he said has got fuck all to do with photoshop as you can do it onhere. what a complete bag of wank that was, really shit. i dont know why you pasted the RED gradient square, only to slowly remove it with red circles. After you had inserted the flames, you could have pasted a red square, cut it and inserted it before the flames. (LAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Please dont give up your day job.

I'm sorry but what the Fuck are you talking about. Putting a red square before the flames is what I did. You obviously dont play Forza or you would realize that it ain't Photoshop although I doubt the method you mentioned would even work in Photoshop. Please get some experience before trying to be smart.

Yeah. I just made it on the side because I wanted to show the technique I use. You do it the same way on the hood as you would on the side.
