I always feel bad for the cars that they're eating. You know some of them are still in driveable condition. But I could also be wrong. Seeing a 4 story robot dinosaur tear the fuck out of a car is so much better than watching it sit in a junk yard!
actually, they strip the cars of engine and some interior things, mainly electronics unless told otherwise. and i have to agree, the car has a more famous ending this way rather than rusting in a dirt lot with other rusting things
