I have seen some people think this game looks like Prince of Persia, thats actually because this game started off as a new PoP title, then some odd concepts popped up and it became Assassins Creed.
ac2 was a whole less boring! It was so fun! I played the second game first, then the first game.
IMO when I finished the second one, I was awed. When I played the first game... it was still a little amazing, but the gameplay for the second is is just a big upgrade compared to the first one (as many would obviously predict).
I like both of them :) for people who just want fun, I suggest the second game. For people who like the story, buy both and play first game first!

The storyline was the best ones I've ever had the pleasure of viewing and playing. Now, it doesn't mean that it's perfect, there are some things in it that I do not agree with but hey! It's a game

What makes you say that? Yeah, that whole "Animus" thing was bullsh*t, but how can you argue with the assassinations? Or the fighting? Or the relentlessly cool free-running escapes?
you really want to know? ah? when I buy it 2 months ago I was really really happy, because I've waited the fucking game 1 year!!! then when I played the first mission I was really satisfied and happy, but then, it comed the repetition, and the repetition of the repetition, I finally finished the game, but with something missing. This game sucks!!!!!
And I thought that Ubisoft's best game franchise ever was going to be Prince of Persia... now... more than another sequel of PoP I would love a sequel of Assassins Creed. Freaking amazing!!!!!!!

there are too many repetitions and story kinda sucks, but altair is cool and running and jumping around is the point that makes the game good ;D
