I'm curious about something...whenever I attempt to style my afro into a poof or anything there's always a section of hair in the back that is more drawn up than the rest of my hair and makes it appear shorter in the back and uneven. I've stretched this hair out and if it wasn't so drawn up my fro would look a lot more even. What would you suggest I do about this as far as styling my hair without cutting it. Thanks for any help.

I really want to learn how to do this! I have mostly 3c hair, when i wash n go its curly. If I twist or bun dry its more straight/wavy, I have to sleep on my unwrapped hair for days to get lovely volume like yours ( or be in humidity). My hair has ADD, I wish it would just either be 3c or 4 a not all crazy!

Next time try a diffuser on cool setting to speed-dry those twists. In 5 minutes they would have been 90 percent dry. Works for me when I'm in a rush (but still want a certain "look" ;D)
