nice job! and thanks for the link in the description too.... i'm buying one of these guitars soon... I cant fucking wait... how was the feedback on the original pickups that came with it..? are they worthy for garage bad jamming with upgrading right away?
I liked the tone and it's spot on in some places, but on the little arpeggio chord things you don't hold it long enough so it sounds weird, in other places it's not good as well. I'm not sure if this is a very strong noise gate or what. The ability to go from lead to rhythm is pretty good, though and the solo almost sounded like on the song.
dude thats awesome how do you find both of the pickups?? are they screaming enough??? i think i'll get them and need some advice, btw why dont you do some megadeth cover?? i subbed
@kortt Me too. =) It's the first guitar I've owned where I don't have any nagging complaints, which is saying a lot. I've been through more than a few guitars in my time haha.
@Tcrumpen Are you talking about the repeating low E? It's definitely palm muted enough to get that chugging, crunchy sound. You'd rarely ever want to leave it open...gets mushy and blends together that way. Open low E is mainly used for rhythmic reasons.
As you said in your Metallica 'one' video, your clean sound is much better here. =)
Great playing dude.
(PS: F**k the whammy bar! Floyd-Rose's are such a pain in the ass and not worth the trouble for a few squeals. If I WAS going to get a guitar with a whammy it'd be a Strat or a guitar with a Wilkinson trem, or Ibanez's SV series.)
@Marshall12AX7 Yea, I'm loving it...works perfectly with this thick mahogany. Has all the power and clarity I need, but I can also dial back the tone/volume for other things I need. Super versatile, for sure.
Don't you get any latency if you record with Audacity?

Awesome cover. I'd like to ask you if Line 6 Spider Jam is a good amp. I'm minding to buy it 'cause Fender Frontman 212r is not that good.
