After the Brady Bunch, this is my favorite children's show. I saw the re-runs as the show was already off the air, when I raced home on snowy Milwaukee afternoons, Mom made a grilled cheese and Campbell's tomatoe soup--and I devoured while watching the fun inanities and outrageiously fun comedy on a desert island. Even then I knew it was a satire: no one could take seriously Ginger, for example, having 20 sparkly gowns on a three hour tour. I LOVE GILLIGAN!! Can you get the box sets??

The Eighties rocked and creative minds were never more so creative and resplendent. Friends of mine towards then end where they say "the professor and Mary Ann" well we used to edit that and say "the undresser and Peter Pan" of course that was in the early 90's we fouled up this theme song so bad.
