  • Fuck, why can't I have a British accent?

  • I sometimes cannot tell the difference between Bruce's and Blaze's talking voice

  • Great Interview! Thanks for The X-Factor and Virtual XI Blaze! You did great in helping keeping Maiden going on!

  • they should do a combined show

  • the best bit is 2:17 - 2:20

  • So Awkward..............

  • i loved some of the blaze songs, but i like them even more when bruce sings them, cause those are songs for his voice, blaze's voice just wasn't the voice for maiden, paul was a great vocalist, but bruce was just better cause his voice defined maiden

  • Bruce WAS the 'new' singer in 1980, They dealt with the same shit.

Blaze w/ Maiden wrote material with a different texture, it's good variety in the live set.

  • Some of Blaze's songs are genuinely up there: Sign of the Cross, Man on the Edge, Virus, The Aftermath, Como Estais Amigos, The Clansman, Futureal, The Edge of Darkness. Thanks for your contributions, Blaze, they added good stuff to Maiden's arsenal.

  • Blaze seems like a really great person. No resentment at all, and he seems genuinely grateful for the time he had in Maiden. I didn't realise they had done this interview. It's really nice to hear. :)

  • Bruce talks too much. Why is he interviewing Blaze when he answers all the questions for him? :D

  • they spike with the same voice !!!

  • respect to blaze...a great singer in his own right....

  • i love blaze maiden era.

  • ...I love British people laughing :P

  • Wolfsbane

  • Good to see that they're the best of chums! No hard feelings either way.

  • Blaze is old friend of the Maiden, with Wolfsbane they wen't on tour together, i think in 1990 for No Prayer tour, of course Wolfsbane were opening band

  • i loved x factor

  • i loved x factor

  • They both seem to have a grounded views of their roles as singers for Maiden. Cool to see Blayze being very mature about it all.

  • YEAH! HE MENTIONED NORWAY!! UP THE IRONS!!

  • Blaze is wrong about not wanting to buy Blaze's new album and Brave New World in the same week...I bought both at the same time and love both! :)

  • Lol, I though this was going to be war when I saw the title. However, they seem pretty decent with each other.

  • Blaze was great in the records...but not that good live, on the other hand Bruce is way more complete, as a singer and as front man...and pilot XD

  • I would LOVE to see Maiden perform with Blaze as guest!

Clansman, Sign of the Cross, all that epicness!

  • Hey its 23.58 right now

  • why didn't they invtite Paul too?

  • @realistispaok4 Probably 'cos Paul's an ass when it comes towards Bruce. He gives him props as being Maiden's best singer, yeah, but he always says he sounds like shit singing stuff off the first two Maiden albums. Which is a matter of opinion, I suppose.

  • Bruce must have been laughing inside during this interview.

  • LOL at Blaze implying the slump sales being the world conjecture's fault...

  • I'm glad these 2 get on -nice to see it all worked out well :)

  • 6,666 views haha

  • bruce dickinson is the best singer for me around the world... BUT

    thank you blaze...for futureal-sign of cross-fortunes of war-man of the edge-lord of flies-virus etc etc =)

  • @koke666im

    dont forget the clansman!!!

  • @koke666im

    dont forget the clansman!!!

  • ah blaze bailey. when joining maiden, said 'ill never come back to tamworth and set up a recording studio'. gets booted out of maiden?....goes back to tamworth, sets upa recording studio. hhahaahahhahaahhaah

  • Great interview. I'm also glad Bruce is back with Maiden. I'll also echo the sentiments that what Blayze is doing now is much better than what he did with Maiden. With all due respect to Blayze, nobody could've done any better. I thank him for his efforts and contributions, and wish him the best of luck.

Now with Bruce (and Adrian) back, Maiden is back on top of the world.

  • Although I'm not a massive fan of Blaze's Maiden stuff, I fucking love his solo stuff

  • I somewhat disagree with Blaze about Silicon Messiah being overshadowed by BNW. Sure, every Maiden fan will buy BNW, but Blaze could definately feed off from Maiden's success.

For example, I got into Black Sabbath's 7th Star album after enjoying the release of Ozzy's Ultimate Sin, and they both came out about the same time.

  • Wow, I always expected there to be tension between these two for obvious reasons, but it seems that they are best pals in this.

  • @ejl1000 They are actually very good friends and Blaze and Maiden parted on good terms

  • 2 good blokes

  • bruce is awesome and such a gentleman - UP THE IRONS!

  • friendly tension?

  • I'm a fan of both Bruce & Blaze..for very different reasons but I have to admit, I am SO glad Brucey's back with Maiden.

This is a great interview, I am glad these two get along. Take note Lee Roth & Hagar ;-)

  • @MsEVH5150 Somethin' I wanna know is if Di'Anno and Dickinson got along. I know that Di'Anno made fun of Bayley because he didn't get the lyrics for Running Free right one time.

  • @IronMaidenSlave1978 Well, in my opinion that can't really be possible 'cause DiAnno's career had been almost slammed down when Bruce came in the band (even though it wasn't Bruce's fault)... I guess that Paul would be too bad in Bruce's presence...

  • haha on 9:56 thats my picture that i put on ironmaidenwallpaper haha thx bro for putin it on ur vid.

  • great to listen to the 2 BEST SINGERS IN WORLD!!!!!!

  • their voices sound similar

  • Great interview, Bruce had Blaze on again not that long ago, shame this Friday is going to be Bruce's last show. Bloody BBC!

  • Bruce and Blaze knew each other and were friends since a long time before Blaze joined Maiden. I think they were even interviewed together by Kerrang posing as twins because they looked so much alike back then.

  • This is so cool! The camaraderie between them two is brilliant! Up the Irons!

  • Bruce is awesome :)

  • Wow, this is a great find! It's cool to see that Blaze doesn't really have a problem being kicked out of maiden, He seems much happier doing his own material :)

  • @kreugfire926 Yep agreed. I saw Blaze live on Saturday night at the SOS festival for the second year running where he headlined, & they did a stunning 68th birthday tribute to DIO (see my vid) Blaze's own stuff is FANTASTIC. I'd urge any metal fan to get off their arses & go & see Blaze & support him & the band. His solo albums are all superb, & his new one 'Promise & Terror' which I bought from the gig & had signed by Blaze when I met him for the 3rd time is absolutely awesome. Cheers \m/

  • very candid, nice interview.

  • wow, awesome, I would never imagine bruce interviewing blaze.
